객실이 오래되다 보니 한 쪽으로 기울어져 있어서 예민한 분들은 불편하실 수도 있습니다. 위치가 너무 좋고 Rye 자체가 좋은 지역이었기 때문에 즐거웠습니다. 직원이 아주 친절하고 조식도 괜찮았어요.

The staff made the place, couldn’t do enough for us! Restaurant was 10/10. Rooms were so lovely, but didn’t have aircon. Having a toddler highlighted the bathroom floor and around the toilet needed a deep clean. Amazing stay though, will be back!

This is a lovely hotel. We stayed in the junior suite and it was gorgeous. Excellent concierge staff. Super bathroom too…huge with separate shower and a gorgeous bath tub. Excellent views. Even better ifs - Would have been useful to have a mini fridge in the room, particularly in the warm weather. A nice tea selection, but no coffee in the room. Vegetarian breakfast option was rather limited.

Quaint town, great location. Staff very helpful, took my bag to the room, necessary given a twisty set of hallways (charming) which entailed 3-4 step sections. Bar open until 11:30pm a plus, breakfast good. If you are there in the summer and it’s hot, ask for a fan. They have them and needed as there is no a/c.

Clean and tidy room, but I do wonder if it is overpriced. The location is great, but the weather each year is the same - pro-longed periods of hot weather but the rooms are not suitable as they are like furnaces. Hotels all over the UK and many other businesses are not taking action to deal with such conditions. A small fan is not sufficient and I understand the hotel is of an age Air Con is not possible to be fitted, but more fans would have been ideal. They were unable to provide our room earlier, as they were sourcing a fan to put in the room + house keeping still ended to sign it off, so it is clear there are not enough fans for all the rooms, never mind two. I know the hot weather is something they are unable to control, but with the rooms being so hot, and it often being a yearly regular occurance, a good nights sleep wasn't possible, one bit. For the price we paid, over £230 for the lead in room, it wasn't value for money. We have stayed a few times before - no recognition of this fact. The breakfast was lovely but the continental offering has reduced down quite a bit since we last came a few years ago. Again, things change but it was noticeable the accessible items were reduced and the range was limited. Hot breakfast was tasty, well cooked, great ingredients and not greasy at all.

Room, bathroom and general areas were extremely clean and well maintained. The bed was exceptionally comfortable!

Really cute spot in Rye. Very friendly and helpful check in. Dinner was really good quality (oysters are *chefs kiss*), and breakfast was better! Excellent selection behind the bar as well

First time at this hotel and very pleased with the room, the facilities and the level of service. The breakfast was excellent too. Absolutely recommended for anyone visiting Rye.

The George, like most properties in Rye is a very old building which whilst adding to its charm also presents the usual issues surrounding layout and maintenance We had room 29 which was a reasonable size however looked tied and was decorated in a Psychedelic Orange patterned wall paper covering all walls and ceiling!! Evidence of mould on window frames however over all the room was clean Like all hotels in Rye the cost of room was higher than your usual hotel stay but that is the price of staying in Rye Food looked good however we ate out as plenty of good quality options close by with greater variety and cheaper prices

I stayed at the George in Rye for one night and I couldn’t fault it. It is a lovely hotel and the staff were so friendly. My daughter and I really enjoyed our stay and I would definitely go back again.

We upgraded from a cosy room to a superior room. The room itself was lovely, though quite small and the bathroom had a roll top bath. The room was extremely clean and the decor was lovely. However, I would say that there was little space to put any of our things, little surface space in the bedroom and the bathroom. Our room was on the top floor; we were asked before arrival whether we had an problem with stairs, and there were quite a few levels to go up so be aware of this. I do have one gripe! There was a constant humming noise in our room, I expect coming from the extractor fan that was outside the bedroom window. We did put up with it but for anyone who likes silence, it would have drove you round the twist. There was a small radio on in our room when we arrived; so wondering if that was to disguise it. I assume this humming noise would have been heard in the rooms either side of us as well. We were in Room 20. Again, lovely room, was let down by the noise.

Excellent hotel - friendly staff, great atmosphere, restaurant fantastic. I travelled alone and recommend this hotel for solo travellers.

Helpful staff and great spot in the center of the. Each room is unique and beautiful. Worth paying for an upgraded room and the ones on the lower level can be loud.
