Very nice

The property seems like it was really special at one point and still beautiful, but it's in need of repairs.The ac in our room didn't work and the shower was both dated and had been very recently patched on the floor. So recently, in fact, that the ground was spongy under it. The fireplace wouldn't turn on more that a very small flame.There was also siding that had been ripped off by the wind and never replaced. Mostly these were just minor inconveniences, because it wasn't super hot or cold out, but for the price of these rooms (about 500 per night), we really expected better conditions.

This place is immaculate!!! So clean and staff is so friendly and helpful!! A must stay!!

Second time staying here and a beautiful hotel!

Staff very friendly! Location was perfect. We had a little trouble with air conditioning! The shuttle was very nice and Sue the driver was awesome!

Lake view

Location is great. Private beach is nice and clean. Room didn’t appear to be clean when we got there. Couldn’t let our baby crawl on the ground. Took us several trips to the front desk to just get clean sheets and towels.

The room was lovely. The view was amazing. The outdoor patio walls and chairs were filled with bugs and spider webs. The room had tiny black bugs throughout.

Our stay was planned to be a family get away for Labor Day weekend and it resulted it being one of the worst stays we have had in Traverse City. We had countless issues, from a bathroom shower that wasn’t cleaned, to no hot water or pressure, to bugs and knats all over the room. Add in a pool that was freezing cold and a broken hot tub and we were left quite disappointed. We were looking forward to the remodeled rooms and what could have been, but left a night early due to the situation. Would not recommend this resort to those visiting.

Great location! Perfect for family with young kids to enjoy the beach. Staff friendly. Downside is the breakfast and coffee are very unsatisfying.

For the money it was OK. The Lake view and my Bayview suite was blocked by tall invasive grass. Entering the living room area had a sour smell, likely from people going in and out wet. The Internet did not work in the suite, but they did comp me the room fees. The hot tub in the outside pool was never on, but the inside pool and hot tub was fine, though crowded at times. The bedroom, the bed and the bathroom was great. Definitely OK for families with small children, but not exactly what I expected. It still wasn’t too bad. The staff was definitely nice, and worked very hard to try and make sure everyone was accommodated.

Lovely property on the beach

Lovely room with beautiful view of the Bay. Convenient drive to downtown Very kind and friendly front desk personnel OK free breakfast. Nice indoor pool for the kids.

Room and property was nice but then hit us with $55 fees at the end of the stay that was not mentioned beforehand.

Beautiful beach!!

Includes standard daily breakfast which was nice as local eateries are expensive. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Had some recurring plumbing issues, but maintenance was responsive. Location was nice on the eastern bay with a beach and both indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs.

AC was not working well. Rooms need an update. Really bad breakfast.
