First. They advertised "half-board" which everywhere else means breakfast and EITHER supper or dinner. Some days I needed dinner, others supper, so I paid for this. When they told me it was only dinner, I asked for a refund, showing the hotel's own small text in Expedia, using "either". They just said that "here it's only dinner". There was no refund neither from Expedia (spent 30 minutes with an agent, who was useless) nor the hotel. The hotel manager was rude, even disrespectful and laughed at our misfortune. Half the hotel is in renovation (no warning) and there is ongoing work and noise all day long. The food was pretty bad. I stayed here some 15 years ago and the rooms were fabulous: 3 stories high. Now they've gutted them and made 3 rooms out of one. Really a shame this "HM" group took it over. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Tuve una desagradable experiencia en el Hotel, me robaron dinero de mi habitación, al hacer el reclamo en recepción todo el personal empezó a tener una actitud pésima hacia mi familia, teníamos prestadas unas copas de vino y sin mas después del reclamo fueron a retirármelas y después a cada lugar que ibamos había alguien vigilando lo que hacíamos. pedíamos café y nos tardaban horas en traerlos, no me ayudaron a bajar mis maletas del tercer piso con escaleras de caracol, a pesar de que soy una mujer de la tercera edad, honestamente NO RECOMIENDO ESE HOTEL.

El hotel está rodeado de jardines verdes muy bonitos!! Todo el personal es muy atento y amable!! Pasamos una estancia muy agradable!!

Magical. Staff was amazing. The beach was beautiful and the best part of town. Room are nice and clean. Pools were cute! Food was okay some food was good but break was okay. The stay was AMAZING! Will stay again! Beautiful experience.

After my stay, I’m quite annoyed by all the negative reviews. My experience was great, room was cute and spacious , location is perfect, staff is very friendly and the breakfast buffet is varied and tasty. On the first day the bathroom smelled like sewage (which can happen because this is AN ISLAND) but I guess someone might have reported it because it was fixed the next day. All to say, pay no mind about bad reviews, this is a great place to stay in Holbox. People complaining about the staff and high food prices are most likely the arrogant ones that forget that staff are people and dont know what offering a smile is, the island is full of restaurants and bars, you dont like the drinks at the hotel? You have an infinite list to choose from. 10/10

The gardens were lush and the beachfront palapas were nice. The beach was amazing. The spiral stairs to the unit were tricky and narrow. Some staff were very friendly while younger bar staff seemed bothered by requests. The internet strength was very inconsistent. The breakfast was just okay. The Americano coffee was poor. I was glad I did not get the all-inclusive food option. Tiny plastic cups for your drinks. I wasn’t able to use either pool as there were never any empty chairs as there only a few there. It was decent enough for the significantly reduced rate. Communication was difficult at times due to language issues.

Todo excelente, el servicio maravilloso, las instalaciones super limpias y espectaculares. Me encanto y seguro volveríamos a ese hotel sin duda.

The property is completely beautiful. The staff were exceptional. I stayed in one of the larger villas very near the beach. Highly recommend this place and Isla Holbox.

The room was very clean, staff was friendly, garden and pool well kept. The beach bar is not exactly at the beach, so service at the beach could be improved. There was a waiter taking orders there, but often he wasn’t available. Beach in front of the hotel is beautiful, and we felt very safe. Special shout out for the animals living at the property. Lizards, birds, racoons (not the trashy ones) and dogs.

The towel in my room had stains on them and so did my pillow case. The cups weren’t properly washed, and I had to wipe before use. The food was terrible—the worst food I’ve even had at an all-inclusive. Their Mexican was better than the rest, but I’ve had way better in the states. Staff is kind.
