위치는 더할 나위없이 좋아서 걸어서 다니기에 너무 좋았습니다. 주차는 발렛을 이용하였고 가격은 비싸지만 친절했습니다. 객실, 부대시설,직원들의 친절도 등 모두 좋았으나 단 한가지 조식은 좀 아쉬웠습니다. 바다가 보이는 전망좋은 식당이긴 했는데 그에 비해 쥬스나 과일,빵등의 퀄리티가 떨어지고 종류도 적어서 아쉬웠습니다. 하지만 좋은 점이 훨씬 많은 호텔로 다시 찾고 싶습니다.

O quarto apesar de pequeno tinha uma ótima vista para o mar. O café da manhã era bom. A estrutura do hotel também atendeu às expectativas.

In our room, the bathroom door was a strange,sliding glass door with a large hole where the handle should have been. Shower head would not stay fixed. The room only had paper cups and staff said that they were not allowed to provide real glasses. Breakfast was fine but not great. Staff was very helpful and pleasant.

Ensimmäinen yö yövyttiin delux huoneessa, jossa oli terassi. Tätä pidettiin ihan huippuhienona. Kaikki tila oli siellä terassissa, joka oli ankea. Näkymä oli hieno terassilta, mutta huoneesta sitä ei nähnyt. Huone ahdas ja ahdistava sekä yleisilmeeltään vähän epäsiisti. Kylpyhuone oli uusittu ja siisti, mutta pieni. Siirryttiin loppu ajaksi huoneeseen, jossa oli parveke. Tämä myös Delux. Huone oli isompi ja siistimpi, Tässä kylpyhuone oli uusimatta. Parvekkeen ovea ei saanut ollenkaan lukkoon. Yleiskuva oli että kaikki on vähän sinnepäin. Henkilökunta oli vastaanotossa ystävällistä, mutta muut olivat hyvin kyllästyneen oloisia. Äänieristys on huono. Kaikki äänet kuuluu selvästi ja jotenkin kertaantuu… Naspurihuineiden puheet kuuluu huoneeseen selvästi. Itse kärsin täällä kokoajan kuuluneesta metelistä.

This is a lovely, professionally-run hotel. We paid extra for a balcony with a sea view and didn't regret it. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. Driving and parking in Taormina is expensive and challenging. We paid 50 euros to park at Porta Pasquale for 3 nights. It's about a 5-10 minute walk downhill from the hotel. People had a really hard time figuring out how to use the parking machine, but eventually everyone did. They need better instructions.

This was a great place to stay: a short walk to all the attractions of Taormina but also quiet. The staff members, especially Ivana at the front desk, were lovely and very helpful. The included breakfast was plentiful and I loved my room. My advice? Stump for a seaview room. You won't be disappointed.

Disappointing. The pool was barely in sun. The room was small, the breakfast uninspiring. Its main redeeming feature was its close proximity to the town and Italianopera nearby which we recommend.

Ottimo hotel a due passi dal centro. Purtroppo non dispone di un parcheggio privato ma offrono un servizio di parcheggio a pagamento con ritiro e riconsegna auto. Personale gentile e professionale. Unica nota dolente la vista dalla stanza che affacciava in un tunnel interno dell’hotel.

We absolutely loved our stay at Splendid and were sad to leave our beautiful room and the amazingly kind and helpful staff. Ivana was especially helpful, but we enjoyed everyone. When my fiancé required medical attention, they called a doctor for him. The room was small but lovely, especially the balcony with the gorgeous view! The location was great. We can’t wait to return.

The view from the room was great. However, the room is small, moldy and not very clean. We found hair on the towels. The keys must be left with at the reception everytime you leave but it was ok. The aircon could not be turned high and so it was quite cold in the room. Me and my partner fell sick due to the mold with fever, dizziness and stuffy nose which impacted our holiday in other cities. The staff were good and the location is convenient but I would not recommend due to the mold and cleanliness. There is no free parking. There is a valet parking which can be expensive if you have a car and are staying for many days.

We had an excellent experience at the Splendid hotel. Location was great and the front desk and breakfast staff was wonderful.
