Really nice hotel with helpful friendly staff

Room and location was perfect. Easy to park, didn’t eat at the premises. Checking in was relatively quick. Staff very helpful and polite.

A beautiful property, excellent staff and facilities. Located near to town centre and river. Lovely views. Great parking.

Lovely hotel, modern and comfortable. Only minor issue was that I booked a double room and was given a room with twin single beds. As I was only here for 1 night I didn't make a fuss. Bed was comfortable and room was great. Water escaped from the shower though drenching the bathroom floor! Could do with a better shower screen. Food was good and staff were pleasant and helpful.

Staff members were so polite, helpful and friendly. Great check in, the Hotel is beautiful and extremely clean, warm and welcoming. Bar staff were very polite and if not serving were cleaning and keeping it ship shape, food was excellent very high standard and quality. Room was cosy and comfortable and spotless. Breakfast service was excellent and again food was high standard. For a business stay it was fantastic, highly recommend. I will definitely go back to the Park for longer stay as a holiday. Well done to you all at The Park

good hotel food good service a bit slow

Friendly staff , modern & clean hotel just a couple of maintenance issues in our room.

Hotel is bright and spotless, in a lovely position by the river with lots of good parking. Eveything you need.

Always a fantastic place to stop and food is excellent

i stay regularly at The Park… and always come back. Its a comfortable hotel with good rooms and fantastic bar food - i tend to dine alone and find the bar options both tasty and hood value… Breakfast is also excellent and sets you up for the day… Will be back :)

Really lovely hotel. I stayed in the Anex building as the price was good, even though it wasn't in the main building the room was great, the bed was comfortable. I had food from the main bar and that was fantastic.

Best thing about the stay is the staff who are excellent, as is everything generally. I like the park hotel for its location, but the list goes on... the rooms are comfortable and everything 'works'... All food options are good and tasty and the bar food offers excellent value. I'll be back... next week in fact :)

A clean and functional hotel which, if it wasn’t for the incessant and loud noise of seagulls throughout the night, would have been fine for a short stay. If you’re looking for a quiet an restful sleep though, avoid the annexe…

Property was perfect as we needed to be at a lunchtime do at the Imperial Hotel just 5 minutes up the road from this hotel. Centre of Barnstable was 5-6 minute walk away. Frontage of the hotel has tables and chairs to sit out. Had two cups of marvellous flat white coffee whilst sitting in the sun. We stayed in the Garden Court Rooms away from the main building. These looked over the car park. It was very quiet on the first night until 2 bouts of thunder and lightning woke us up! Second night unfortunately we had a group of lads shouting below our window at 2.45am and then having told them to politely shut up some drove away and we had one or two bounding up and down the stairs to the room next to ours. This was 03.45! We phoned reception. Found out the next morning that the police had been called. Presume it was all kicking off as England had won their match that night. Hotel very very apologetic but as we know it wasn’t their fault. Would certainly recommend this hotel, staff, room and breakfast all excellent and couldn’t fault it.

Liked the undercover parking in the garage and being able to charge the car. Also being able to lock our eco bikes in the garage.

Nice hotel with luxurious feel. Comfy beds and nice room.

Great location , parking. Staff very helpful.

Garden Wing room was comfortable. The staff were friendly and obliging. The dining options were good. Check in and check out were quick. Just a note though that our wing smelt musty. Everything was clean but smelt mouldy. Ditto our ensuite.

For this stay I room 307 in the annex building, which was clean, modern, and very comfortable. I will stay here again
