전체적으로 여유롭고 시설도 맘에 들었습니다. (발코니가 있어서 좋았습니다) 하지만 도보 여행객에게는 위치가 아쉬운 곳 입니다. 중심가에서 짐을 가지고 가기에 거리가 너무 멀고 힘들었습니다. (오르막도 있어서 결국 한번은 택시를 이용했습니다) 저녁 때 주문해 먹은 음식(1인당 기본 25유로~)은 깔끔하고 괜찮았습니다. 조식은 보통이었습니다.

Edles Hotel. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt.

This hotel is really worn down. We were a bit disappointed with the state of the hotel and especially the rooms needed renovation. The squeaky floors from the neighbors woke us up in the morning and the refrigerator was also really noisy. We could hear everything that was going on in the hallway and the rooms next door. The atmosphere was 1970’s, in a cool way, but things were just a little too worn. Location was really good and the pool area was nice.

Schönes Hotel am Lago Maggiore. Die Zimmer sind sauber und das Bad ist angemessen. Sicherlich ist das Hotel etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber groß zu bemängeln gibt es nichts am. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück ist ausreichend. Der Zimmerbalkon ist schön und ausreichend groß. Die Poolanlage wird eng, wenn sich viele Gäste am Pool wiederfinden. Da kann es schon mal sein, dass man keinen Platz bekommt. Die Dachterrasse ist groß, war aber leider nicht geöffnet. Der Zusatzparkplatz für die Autos muss unbedingt in Ordnung gebracht werden. Da herrscht Chaos bei den ganzen Büschen und Bäumen. Geordnetes Parken ist unmöglich. Wir waren zu frieden. Preisleistung ist gut.

Wir waren im Hotel Royal 9 Tage rundherum glücklich! Unser Zimmer (102) lag im Erdgeschoss nahe am Pool und war gerade für Senioren ideal mit ebenerdiger großer Dusche und kleiner Terrasse vor der Tür. Der Poolbereich ist sehr hübsch bepflanzt, es gibt Liegen, Sonnenschirme und Handtücher, Pool und Whirlpool waren immer sauber und frisch. Die Lobby ist sehr elegant möbliert und mit frischen Blumen dekoriert. Das Frühstück im Freien neben Oleander und Zitronenbäumen war wunderbar und die Auswahl typisch italienisch hauptsächlich süß, aber auch mit Rührei, Wurst, Käse, Obst und Joghurt. Die riesige Dachterrasse mit schönen Pflanzen war unser Lieblingsort, der Blick auf den See und die Inseln ist umwerfend! Unser besonderer Dank geht an das großartige Team: alle sind überdurchschnittlich herzlich, fleißig und hilfsbereit, jeder gibt alles um die Gäste glücklich zu machen. Die Zimmer werden täglich gereinigt und es gibt frische Handtücher. Das Hotel liegt keine 5 Minuten vom See und der Promenade entfernt, zum Bahnhof läuft man ca. 10 Minuten und ins Zentrum ca. 15. Wir kommen wieder!

Fir elderly peiple would be helpful to have sonething to help to grip when entwring the bathtube to have a shower.

We loved our stay here. A beautiful, old style property with beautiful gardens, lovely old furnishings with lots of artwork on the walls. Phenomenal views from the rooftop area, which is sadly underutilized. Great lake views from many of the rooms. 20 minute walk into Stresa along a lovely walkway on the lake edge. Good breakfast as well. Highly recommended

Great overall. Excellent chamber maid. Very good breakfast but absolutely no variation on food available. Only passable coffee served- this needs improvement! Noises outside late at night from a wedding party spoilt a good night’s sleep on Saturday. Level 5 upper terrace is a fantastic spot but hardly used as very few sun longers or umbrellas available - nevertheless we thoroughly enjoyed using it for ourselves! A missed opportunity by senior management to encourage guests to frequent this area eg for afternoon tea or evening drinks. Ash trays placed on room balconies only increases smoking by neighbours - a real pain if you don’t smoke and dislike the smell of others smoke. Keep the hotel completely smoke free please.

The hotel is located on the edge of Stresa and near one of the ferry terminals. It would suit those who don't mind a 30 min walk in to the town centre. Our room was reasonably large but the bathroom was a bit odd with the shower head located in the middle of the wall making it difficult to use. We also had a strange experience intermittently with the sound of water rising down pipes, presumably when the toilets above were flushed. The staff were professional and helpful and breakfast is a throwback to yesteryear in a large, bright dining room. All in all the stay was a 5/10 and I'd suggest is Ok for 2 or 3 nights.

Das Hotel ist im ansprechenden Zustand. Die Einrichtung der Zimmer funktionell. Leider hatten wir nur eine Badewanne ohne Abtrennung somit war Duschen nicht so einfach. Die Straße ist recht laut im vorderen Garten zu hören. Am Pool war vom Verkehr aber kaum etwas zu hören vom Straßenlärm.Aus diesem Grund lieber ein Zimmer zur Poolseite wählen .

Las habitaciones impecables, el personal muy amable y profesional, el desayuno era bueno, de 9, y el bar muy bien servido. La zona de piscina no es muy grande y aunque hay aparcamiento gratis, una vez se completan las plazas en el hotel, hay que llevar el coche a una parcela que está junto al hotel pero no muy bien preparada de aparcamiento y sin mucho control.

Everything was perfect from the welcome and the goodby

We enjoyed our stay at the Royal however we do have to unfortunately mention the male bar staff that was very unhelpful when we asked for a drinks around 5.30 we were asked to wait as he was preparing bar snacks for 7 o’clock, while he then asked what we wanted he was unwilling to give us the 2 glasses of wine, and said we could buy the bottle which we declined. The reception, cleaning, breakfast staff were all very helpful.
