We loved the staff. The plumbing not so much.

I loved this hotel! From the minute i walked into reception l, i was greeted so warmly and friendly by the wonderful staff, and that excellent service continued for mynentire stay. My room was beautiful, very comfortable and the bathroom was huge! The hotel was walking distance to plenty of delicious cafes and restaurants, it is in a really good location. This is one of my favourite hotels I've ever atayed at, thank you to all of the wonderful staff for making my stay so enjoyable.

We’ve returned year after year to this pleasant hotel perfectly situated for us. The room is quite nice, and the staff is terrific.

Only complaint was a mattress that needs replacement with a DIP on each side and hump in the middle and the AC should be check to decrease its rattling sound like an 18 wheeler

This was a nice and comfortable hotel. I didn’t like that on arrival the dishwasher is full of clean dishes, which they say is for our benefit, so the first thing you have to do is put dishes away. No one wants to do this on vacation or when travelling! Our first morning Housekeeping came at 8.15am which is not great when everyone was still asleep. Lesson learned for day 2. The hotel pool is a lap pool and smaller than expected but nice, the staff are really nice, and helpful. The food is ok. We did both room service for dinner and breakfast with breakfast being better than the room service. I’d expect more from this standard of hotel. It was nice overall and we would stay here again as the suite was a good size for a small family and location was incredibly convenient.

Lovely hotel with excellent service

I recently stayed at this hotel during my trip to Vancouver, and I couldn’t be more impressed. From the moment I arrived, the service was exceptional—friendly, attentive, and always one step ahead. Every staff member I encountered was professional and genuinely welcoming, which made the entire experience feel personalised and comfortable. Perfectly situated in the heart of Vancouver, it offered easy access to key attractions, restaurants, and public transport. The room was modern, spacious, clean, and well-equipped. If you’re planning a visit to Vancouver and want a mix of top-tier service and unbeatable location, this hotel is a fantastic choice.

Great value, beautiful quiet room with nice finishings. Will be back.

Pressed bed linens, non-squeaky spring mattress with great support and cushioned pillow top. Excellent water pressure from all faucets. Low height toilet. No assist bars for shower or tub. Bath towels are in need of an upgrade, thin and scratchy. No microwave but a bar sink, coffee pod machine and mini fridge were handy. Light blocking drapes and privacy sheers made the expansive windows enjoyable. Building seemed to be fairly well sound dampened from street noise. Busy corner but nighttime was quiet. Access pool and spa by walking through the gym to a door that leads outside. Walk through the outside dining area and past the large windows to dining room. Heated salt water lap pool was clean. Good, wide, double bar with steps. Towels provided. A few loungers and one umbrella. Towels provided. Beautiful landscaping. Jacuzzi was perfect temp and spacious but extreme chlorine fumes from steam so unable to use. No outside pool bathroom or shower. All facilities were in the hotel which required you to partially dry off enough to trek back through the dining area and gym. A bit inconvenient but the inside bathrooms (mens and womens separate) have a sink room with a single toilet closet, privacy glass shower and multi person steam room. Liquid soap dispensers, bench and hooks, towel hamper. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay after a cruise. We hired an uber $25 for early morning ride to airport. Plenty of good restaurants, coffee and bakeries within 6 min walking distance.

i’ve stayed at this hotel before. And for me, it’s the best in town. It’s small, beautifully decorated. Wonderful staff. Great dining.

Welcoming staff, clean spacious room

The L’Hermitage hotel was excellent. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel location was convenient to the train station and walking distance to various sites and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.
