We enjoyed being next to the beach and the pool and spa was awesome for our granddaughter.

Several elevators were out which was hard on me as I have a heart condition and had to walk much further. My husband actually got stuck in the one working elevator and never even got an apology.

We had to cut our stay short. However the hotel won’t respond to Expedia to acknowledge the cancellation. I talked to the front desk person and he said that I needed to go through Expedia to get a refund. I did just that but after multiple attempts, Expedia says the hotel won’t respond.

Nice views, great ocean access. Outside stairs were weathered, needs paint. Laundry room was not appealing

This place has gone downhill. A 1 star motel at best. Views are the only redeeming factor. Very dirty and staff unfriendly.

Driftwood Shores Resort is a grest place to get away and wnjoy the Oregon Coast! Every room has an ocean view!

The staff were all very friendly and helpful... We got there earlier than check in & they were able to get us into our room 2 hours early. Great views from the balcony.

Location is great- beautiful views. The property is pretty run down and not very clean. There was construction with signs saying asbestos in one area, elevators were out of order.The fire alarm went off repeatedly one day with no explanation or staff present when we exited as directed. The restaurant closes at 6. No housekeeping unless you stay at least 7 nights. Two towels for a 4 night stay and no staff at the front desk when we went to get more. Kids play area was "out of order." No coffee in the room- staff said the shipment didn't come. We loved the beach access and this property has great potential but really needs to update and clean the property.

Great location. Nice people. Very clean. The hotel is old, but it has charm. Lots of young families playing on the beach. Some of us just walked the beach and sat on our balconies. No restaurant as such. A foodie place at the end of the hotel - very good coffee.

Driftwood Shies was an excellent hotel. The only quibble I had was a lack of air conditioning. We ended up leaving our sliding door partially open all night in order to maintain a comfortable sleeoing temperature. Otherwise, it was in the high 70s overnight, far too warm for us. But the people, the room, the food, all excellent.

Mold was present in our bathroom and the room had a musty smell. The facility was very worn and had not been updated. The elevator showed signs of wear, was very small and very slow.

Beautiful place off the beaten path, right on the beach a little piece of Heaven.
