Nice!

Was amazing. Clean rooms, cozy size - perfect for me and my partner! Perfectly located for the airshow we came down to see as well and very close to other amenities like aldi and b&m! The staff were super helpful and friendly and the pool was a bonus.

The duvet was damped because l think the cleaners didn't leave dry anoth

The bed linen and indeed all soft furnishings were quite damp, too much moisture in the room, which made it difficult to sleep.

Nice little hotel. Could definitely do with a bit of a spruce around the rooms. Shame the pool closed early and the jacuzzi never opened.

Lovely hotel with great staff.

A excellent hotel, situated just next to Rochester Airport. Just outside Rochester town centre. It's along the main carriageway that heads towards Rochester. Also there's a Asda Supermarket 7 mins away. It has a Gym,Conference centre, Swimming pool as well. There is bar food available and evening dinner also, Very family orientated as well.I had breakfast there as well, It was very good. Free parking, Well decorated, bright and airy. The staff are so nice and friendly, very helpful. My room on the lower ground was lovely, With two single beds, Tea/Coffee facilities, en suite, Very good wifi connection, Very clean and very quiet.

It’s the second time we have stayed here and nothing was too much trouble. Damien and Michelle were amazing when sorting a problem with our room key. Looking forward to our next stay

Thr oom was fine. But there was an event on so very noisy until about 01:30. No sleep until then. The bedroom had very low water pressure so showering was not possible. Staff told me that its becuase so may people were showering at 07:30 - not a suprise!! Don't get a room around the 230 numbers. Breakfast was good.

Amazing stay and the staff are really helpful

The hotel was ok - we only travelled to Stratford and it was an easy and quick journey. The biggest disappointment was the fact that the pool was closed for both days we were in - that was the only reason I chose the hotel instead of cheaper and better located options, only to find out I am paying more for nothing.

Parking was plentiful and hassle free. Great service at reception and every staff member we encountered were very helpful and polite. Lovely clean rooms and will definitely book with holiday inn Chatham again.

The room was small but very comfortable especially the bed which was perfect for a relaxing sleep. Staff were amazing and I couldn’t fault their kindness and eagerness to help. It was very dog friendly but it would have been nice to have had something available in the room for my dog such as a water bowl etc but that is a minor point

No business gets everything right every time. No one is perfect. But, the way a business reacts when things go wrong is very important. We checked in for two nights and the first night didn’t go well for a variety of reasons, including an uncomfortable mattress, a dodgy shower control and a toilet that wouldn’t flush. These issues were raised with the front desk who upgraded us to a much better room without argument or question. Thank you.

Staff resolve issue with our room and our replacement was great. Did not use the cleaning service during 4 days. Overall experience was great will use again. Kind regards, Chris and Joyce Mendes

This hotel is a hidden gem.

How this hotel has got the reviews it did, has completely perplexed me. Omitted to say it's right next to a landing strip, we were woken by helicopters landing late. We booked a premier room, if that's the standard of a premier room, I'd hate to see what a standard room looks like, I will never stay there again. The bathroom cleanliness was very bad, the bathroom sink was disgusting. I had to try and wash it before I could use it. The material condition of the room was very poor, when I tried to raise it, I couldn't get through to reception by phone, when I went down to try and speak to someone, a coach load of people had arrived so it was chaos, I couldn't wait, when I spoke to someone when checking out, I felt I was met with indifference and was asked to send them the pictures of the bathroom sink, no apology. I advised that I also had also had a fall on the stairs and hurt myself, I witnessed 2 other people have falls on the same stairs due to the last step being higher than the other steps. I was given a blank sheet of paper to fill in for the accident, never asked if I was okay. The manager was too busy for me to speak to. Save your money and give this place a very wide birth or you might catch something unpleasant.

All the staff we met were friendly and professional. Special mention to Chiara (hope I’ve spelt that right) who was on reception 1pm Saturday 30/5/26 and Sunday morning: Thank you for sorting out our early check in request so we could attend a family event on time. The breakfast service staff were a delight too as were the vegetarian options with some clearly marked as vegan (croissants) which was perfect and having plant-based sausages without having to wait for them to be made to order was great. Looking forward to a longer stay in a couple of months. Keep up the good work.

Room was clean but mine was the furthest away from the entrance and reception on the ground floor. A long walk!!

Very high standard. I stay on lots of HI hotels and this is definitely up there as one of the best. Highly recommended
