Amazing experience with great food and customer service.

Good hotel but on our last day our toilet exploded and water was running everywhere. It reached the balcony. Our phone in the room wasn't working, so we had to go to the lobby and ask for help and it took them 15 minutes or more to come and fix the problem and this happened at 2AM. Had a flight at 8am.

Lipstick on a Pig! 1. The Royal club member reps are like hunters. They hunt you down to sit with unrelentingly salesmen for 90 minutes for timeshare. Very unpleasant. 2. Toilet did not work had to fill with water with trash can to flush and AC did not work humidity off the charts where bedding was damp and wet. Miserable! 3.Room filled with mosquitoes, bites everywhere! 4. Requested towels, face clothes and extra blankets multiple times. Received them at checkout. 5. Pool near beach was dirty. Scum floating in water. Gray water. 6. Ponds smell foul give an unpleasant Odor to entire resort. 7. Ceiling plaster in shower falling all over floor in shower. 8. Beach filled with seaweed and other vegetation! Positive: restaurants and staff in restaurants are wonderful!

the property and the beach were beautiful, rooms were very nice and spacious. TVs don’t really work well. Very static and freeze constantly. The food was awful. Pretty much like hospital food. I’m confused on why there are good reviews about the food. It was always cold and looked like it had been sitting out for days and could probably cause a bacterial infection. I feel like I need to do a detox after this stay. The maintenance workers are working around the clock keeping the grounds beautiful, but that means early wake up calls the lawn mowers and pressure cleaners along with the loud pea cocks that are all over the property. My husband has a food allergy to gluten and it was very hard to communicate that to the wait staff even though we had a letter in Spanish and Google translate. All I can say is.. you get what you pay for. Won’t be coming here again.

Foi uma experiência incrível. Achamos que compensa ficar na área platinum, pois tem mais opções de restaurantes, como o Soho, PBG, na beira mar e Chopin, além de um espaço mais reservado e na praia e piscina cm bar exclusivo. Adorei todos os restaurantes, cada uma com uma temática diferente, todos bem ornamentados e comida boa. Só os doces que não são muito bons. O wasabi mesmo de comida japonesa excelente, o Soho da área Platinum tmb, o Samhara indiano é lindo, a comida é só pra quem gosta mesmo. O Tartufo muito bom. Um ponto negativo é que o Wi-Fi não pega na parte da praia da área platinum, nem no restaurante PBG. Recomendo que tenha um plano de internet para esse locais, pois dificilmente vai pegar o Wi-Fi. Nos demais locais a internet pega ótimo, tanto no quarto, quanto nos restaurantes. Se ficar na área platinum recomendo tomar café no Chopin, pois fica menos gente. O resort é bem grande, mas toda tempo passa os carrinhos para vc ir para algum lugar. Você não é obrigado a dar gorjeta. Achei o tratamento bom do pessoal, independente se você dar gorjeta ou não. Claro que um agrado os fará mais feliz. Os quartos são grandes. Na hora do chekin tente pegar algum no térreo e de frente pra o mar. Nosso checkout foram as 12:00 e eles nos deixaram permanecer até a hora que quisermos usando tudo do resort, ainda cm a pulseira do platinum. Fomos embora às 22:00 da noite, e ainda conseguimos jantar em um restaurante mesmo sem a reserva.

The hotel is getting a lot of work done. The rooms are nice and clean. We did have problems for a week with house keeping because they would clean the room and they would leave us with no towels and every time we would call the lobby for towels they would take over 3 hours to bring us towels. The food was okay, it needs more seasoning and more variety when it comes to the food in the buffet. Every day was the same food and they had multiple stations as well with the same food. The pool need to be resurfaced because it’s literally green on the walls and it looks disgusting. Other than that custom service is great and that is a 10/10. Over all I wouldn’t stay at this hotel again I think there is better out there for the same price.

The people here were very welcoming and loveddd it here I am definitely coming back best hotel it was close to everything

This is our second time here and they have remodeled the rooms and they are very spacious and wo derful. Food options are plenty and delicious.

Tuvimos una gran experiencia en este hotel, la comida muy buena, los restaurantes de especialidades excelentes. La atención de algunos meseros es excelente y de otros deja mucho que desear. El hotel es bonito, la playa está preciosa. Lo único es que los de royal holiday te persiguen y acosan por todo el hotel para darte su plática y otorgarte un “regalo” es muy molesto ir a pasar unas vacaciones en paz y tener que estar diciéndoles muchas veces al día que no te interesa. Ojalá puedan moderarse para el futuro en ese aspecto. Todo lo demás muy bien.

The whole Platinum section was beautiful. Also, grounds in general, Paseo Ecoligico, the SoHo Buffet, the restaurant on the beach in the Platinum section. The staff were amazing - Enrique at SoHo, the entertainment crew, the beach bar staff, Reception staff, volleyball organizers Areas for improvement: - a la carte restaurants were bland - nightly entertainment lacked variety and was repetitive - main pool did not seem to be clean (water was greenish in colour) - I suggest re-stocking the minibar with whatever guests seem to prefer - I liked the Brugal rum and I would have preferred that instead of vodka or whiskey - the food trucks need to be spiced up - mostly fries and burgers - not a great selection. Although the idea of food trucks is great.

Nossa estadia foi maravilhosa, o resort é enorme, lindo em cada detalhe, há muitos animais e área verde, diversas opções de restaurantes. A comida era deliciosa e muito variada. Tinham muitas opções o dia todo, para todos os gostos. Conseguimos cadeiras na piscina e na praia em todos os dias e horários. Os funcionários são divertidos e solícitos. Voltaria muuuitas vezes!!
