This hotel offers shuttle service to the NRG Stadium but not on the weekends, when it’s need the most. The hotel has a smell from the dirty carpets. The staff were very nice and helpful. The hotel was not very aesthetically appealing. Just a place to rest your eyes.

Room had a smell and mattresses had stains including blood on them. Furniture had stains as well. Carpets in the hallway were sticky.

This place was full of roaches. We let the receptionist know and she said she would tell the owners. The room was not very good. The shower was awful. The curtain floated around when you took a shower. There was water everywhere. The pool looked so nasty. Not enough towels. Woke up to roaches crawling on the bed.

This building is not a good representation of a Candlewood. The lobby was filled with the front desk attendants children laying around. The trim on the cabinets is falling apart, there was slime on the door, mold in the light fixture in the bathroom.

This place was disgusting.

The beds were comfortable and the AC in the room worked well. But ice maker in freezer didn't work and there's no ice maker in the building. Pool is out of order. The transportation advertised is only M-F.

This property wasn’t clean. The tv didn’t work. The time on the tv was off so you couldn’t get any live tv and it wouldn’t connect to any internet so there was no ability to watch tv. The bed smelled and there were hardly any towels for the shower. They had shampoo and conditioner and body wash but it was hard to get the body wash out of container. There was no mat in the bathtub so I was careful as it felt a bit slippery. All in all we booked this place to go to a concert in the area. The cleanliness had a lot to be desired. Small interaction with staff but they were friendly.

Chose this hotel because of the indoor pool which was out of service and the whole place smelled like marijuana. The room itself was not bad but chose this place for the gym, hot tub, and pool which was non accessible ☹️

Well the pool was not opened. Under maintenance. Room was not cleaned the next day. Guess not enough staff available.

My stay was bad. We had to keep going down to office cuz our door wouldn't open keycard wouldn't work. They came to change door lock still had problems with it. Then the pillows had mold my husband had to go downstairs again with the pillows to show them and get new pillows i took pictures. It was very frustrating and not a comfortable stay.

The carpets in the hallways are dirty and stinky. They need to be overhauled. The room had roaches in the bathroom. The toilet would not flush (this was fixed). The basin was partially clogged. The room had a stench.

The property is very old. You can tell it’s been painted a lot and the carpets are dirty. Couch and chair in the room was dirty. The area is sketchy. The staff was very nice and accommodating.

Couldn’t even shower due to bugs in shower, no face towels, no tissue in bathroom

Front desk often not there, sofa bed broken, microwave didn’t work. Stove didn’t work. Gym equipment in bad shape.

It was very hard to find. Also it extremely hard to get into the property. There needs to be some sign or something to bring attention to the property, to make it easier to locate the actual driveway to enter the property.

I knew going in that this wasn’t a top-rated hotel, so my expectations were reasonable. However, there are some basic issues that could easily be addressed to improve the guest experience and overall ratings. During my stay, I found roaches in the room, the top of the fridge was dirty, and there was an exposed electrical outlet—serious safety concerns. The linens were worn out, the furniture was stained, and the door card reader was unreliable and often took multiple tries to work. Small improvements and attention to detail would go a long way in making this place more comfortable and better reviewed. Cleanliness and basic maintenance shouldn’t be overlooked, no matter the hotel rating.

Cockroaches! Enough said. Shabby and run-down - broken washers & dryers, pool closed, dirty carpet throughout. Unsafe are, neighboring buildings had armed guards patrolling their lot. I would NEVER recommend this hotel.

Do not stay here. This was a horrible experience. Pictures on Expedia not true reflection of property. The hotel smelled horrible. Had to hold my breath from elevator to my room due to the stench. Felt very unsafe on property. Appeared part of the hotel was being used for housing. We had to switch rooms mid stay due to noise from room above us. The new room had wet carpet from the air conditioning unit to under our bed. I left two days early with no refund. No reflection on the staff and I feel this is more management but stay away from this hotel!
