Bankes arms!! First of all, I am not good at English, so I am not sure if the meaning will be conveyed well. Because of the connection with other itineraries, I could only plan the itinerary for one night at corfe castle, but it gave me regret that I was only just able to stay for one night. If I stayed for 2-3 nights, I would have added to the flavor of the trip by drinking beer or tea in the garden while looking at the wonderful view, steam train, and castle. I am so grateful for the comfortable and humane hosting of the owner and staff at Bankes arms, and I feel like I received a good gift. I felt the taste of a local tour in England from the way she attended the guest with open mind who even stayed for 1 day. The owner, Carol, escorted us into room, explained directly at the views from every window, the lovely side of the room. It was very elegant and natural to check things that might be helpful to the guest. Many thanks to for the bright and kind response from the staff. Corfe Castle is the perfect place for a romentic stay while visiting the nearby harbor with a great view and old harry rocks. Corfe Castle is one of the most beautiful villages in England, and the views in all directions around the castle are unbelievably beautiful. I definitely plan to visit again, and it has become a place I know like a treasure in my life.

Room was clean and airy, though a bit close to street noise. Staff were personable and helpful and our meals were superb.

Very convenient location as it's at the center of the village but might not be suitable if one prefers a quiet place during the day because it's in a busy road.

Great pub with rooms. Nice food and good breakfast too.

Quirky room and old hotel but great central location, easy parking and view of castle from the garden. Check in at the bar meant we had to wait as an order for 11 drinks was being taken ahead of us and only 1 person available. Comfy beds, good shower and the busy road quietened down overnight.

Lovely old world charm pub with attentive staff and excellent food especially freshly prepared to order breakfast! Rooms are clean and functional - ideally located and easy access to Studland and Swanage!

Had a lovely stay here. Staff were all very friendly and this is a lovely pub with a beautiful log burner. The breakfast was excellent, as was the food we had one evening when we dined here. Will definitely be back (hopefully when there's nicer weather) :)

Picture you’ve come off the road, your adventure into the castle on the hill is set for the next morning. You go into the warm inviting

Room was very clean and comfortable. Staff very welcoming. Really enjoyed our visit. Definitely will stay again.

Only stayed one night but for us location was excellent for visiting Corfe castle. Had dinner there and was great. The staff was very accommodating. only issue had was could not get hot water working. Would definitely stay there again.

Great food - we ate dinner and breakfast with them. Extremely tasty.

The room we had was clean, good size and bathroom big and shower very good . The owners couldn’t be any nicer and nothing was troublesome for them Breakfast was a big plus because it was piping hot and in a lovely room . There was parking around the back but we didn’t have a car so can’t comment .

Lovely place to stay. Staff were great. Room was spacious and clean just a little too warm for me even with the radiators turned off. We ate here too and the food was delicious especially the fish burger!

Great staff, food first day was very good, great location for castle and reasonable prices. Good selection behind bar. A bit tired looking, and facilities need an upgrade. New owners in place since end of August, so I’m sure improvements will be made. Would still stay again if in the area

The hotel is beautiful with lovely views. The room was also very pretty and my daughter loved that she had an adjoining room with a separate door. The food in the restaurant was also very good but took time to bring condiments. The mattress on the double bed was really thin and not the comfiest but the single bed was super comfy. As the room was hot we opened the window slightly but this did mean we got a lot of traffic noise and the sound of the church bell on the hour every hour. Regardless, I would recommend this as a lovely place to stay.
