Clean. First of all, the place is perfect.

My wife and I stayed in the Hotel Scalinata di Spagna for 7 nights in May 2025. We enjoyed a wonderful stay thanks to many factors. First of all, the location is fantastic near to the Spanish Steps. All the staff members in the hotel are super kind and professional. We do appreciate everyone in the reception, housekeeping, doorman and restaurant. Especially we thank Mr. Alom in the buffet restaurant. We plan to revisit surely this wonderful familiar hotel. Once again, thank everyone for having made our trip unique.

로마 일정 중 3박을 이곳에서 숙박했는데 정말 만족하여 후기 남깁니다. 룸 자체도 넓고 예쁘고 쾌적했고, 조식 시설도 사진과 동일합니다. 직원들도 정말 친절했고 시설도 훌륭합니다. 호텔 위치도 로마 시내 어디든 다니기 좋은 위치였고 바로 앞에 지하철 역이 있어 투어 미팅 시 다니기도 좋았습니다. 다시 로마에 간다면 무조건 재예약할 것 같아요. 마지막으로 돌아오는 날 아침에 호텔 주변을 산책했는데 바로 앞쪽 메디치빌라 지나 공원 올라가는 길에서 로마시내가 한눈에 내려다 보이더라구요. 그곳에서 야경을 못 본것이 매우 아쉬웠습니다. 가시는 분들은 꼭 보셨으면 좋겠습니다.

My family of four stayed in the panoramic suite and absolutely loved it. More than enough space in the room and the balcony is to die for. Staff was always available to help and very friendly!

From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by friendly staff. The room was very clean and the breakfast was wonderful. The hotel was walking distance to many of the tourist attractions. Overall, my family and I had a great time in Rome and we would stay at the hotel again.

Breakfast was always fresh and he people that worked at the hotel were very helpful. We did not speak Italian and they helped us get a taxi to the airport for an early morning departure. When we checkin they walked us to room and explained a few things. Everyone always polite and smiling.

We loved everything about our stay! Our room was clean and well maintained. It was the perfect location and the morning breakfast was fresh daily! I would definitely come back.

Staff is very helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet was phenomenal with an impressive variety of choices. I would absolutely stay here again if (when) I return to Rome. My stay was in June so the air conditioning was very welcome.

Clean modern updated air conditioned room with a great view. Staff was very helpful and booked was able to book transfer to and from the airport and the cruise ship port. The breakfast was great every day.

Fabulous from start to finish. We stayed there twice with a short trip to Sardinia in the middle and loved it. Great staff, the most wonderful view from our room and walking distance to everything. We will be back

Location

O quarto é pequeno, mas muito aconchegante. As janelas são voltadas para uma vista espetacular. O sol entra de dia, o que funciona como um abraço. E elas vedam o barulho. A localização é espetacular. Fica a dois passos da piazza de Espanha. Super recomendo. O café da manhã poderia ser melhor. Mas, de você está em Roma, se preocupe em comer pizza!!

Amazing views of Rome from our room and great location near Spanish steps.

Price was very high for this stay. Also the water temp in the bathrooms were either scolding hot or freezing cold, no in between. We came back to the room one day to find the staff fixing the water pump . We did notify the staff of the issue and they attempted to fix it, but one bathroom shower temperature was never fixed. We enjoyed the location of the hotel to the Spanish steps but our stay was not as pleasant for the price. Breakfast was very good though there. This was probably just an issue with only our room, hopefully. It was a nice place if this was all fixed before we arrived and checked.
