My wife and I stayed in the Hotel Scalinata di Spagna for 7 nights in May 2025. We enjoyed a wonderful stay thanks to many factors. First of all, the location is fantastic near to the Spanish Steps. All the staff members in the hotel are super kind and professional. We do appreciate everyone in the reception, housekeeping, doorman and restaurant. Especially we thank Mr. Alom in the buffet restaurant. We plan to revisit surely this wonderful familiar hotel. Once again, thank everyone for having made our trip unique.

로마 일정 중 3박을 이곳에서 숙박했는데 정말 만족하여 후기 남깁니다. 룸 자체도 넓고 예쁘고 쾌적했고, 조식 시설도 사진과 동일합니다. 직원들도 정말 친절했고 시설도 훌륭합니다. 호텔 위치도 로마 시내 어디든 다니기 좋은 위치였고 바로 앞에 지하철 역이 있어 투어 미팅 시 다니기도 좋았습니다. 다시 로마에 간다면 무조건 재예약할 것 같아요. 마지막으로 돌아오는 날 아침에 호텔 주변을 산책했는데 바로 앞쪽 메디치빌라 지나 공원 올라가는 길에서 로마시내가 한눈에 내려다 보이더라구요. 그곳에서 야경을 못 본것이 매우 아쉬웠습니다. 가시는 분들은 꼭 보셨으면 좋겠습니다.

사진이랑 인테리어가 똑같았습니다. 남편과 작은 방에 묶었는데 작아도 cozy하게 있을것은 다 있었고, 수압도 훌륭했습니다. 아!방음과 비오면 환기가 잘 안되는 듯 했습니다. 그럼에도불구하고 이탈리아 여행중 3.4,5성급 호텔 다 이용했는데, 저희 부부는 이 호텔이 가장 좋았습니다. 직원들 친절하고 조식 괜찮고 방도 따뜻해서 다음에 로마에 오게 되면 다시 방문하고 싶은 곳입니다.

위치가 가장 좋습니다. 스페인 계단 위라서 주요 여행지 돌아다니기 편합니다. 바티칸도 택시로 금방이고 창밖으로 보이는 풍경도 좋습니다. 다만 방 스타일이 사진보다는 삭막한 느낌입니다. 호텔 스탭들은 모두 친절하세요.

스페인광장 바로 윗쪽에 위치해 있어서 좋았습니다 다만 계단 윗쪽이라 스파냐 역까지 가려면 광장 위 계단을 다 올라가야해요. 공항에서 택시로 가서 몰랐는데 트렁크 끌고 올라가려면 힘들 듯 합니다. 그쪽이 길에서 제일 끝쪽이라 굉장히 조용했고 조식도 괜찮게 나와요어요

3명이서 각자 사용하려고 침대 3개인 방을 예약했는데 엘리베이터가 고장나서 제일 좋은 룸을 받아서 숙박했습니다. 파노라마스윗으로 스페인계단 젤 위와 같은 뷰를 룸발코니에서 봤습니다. 룸도 욕실도 리모델링되어서 정말 좋았습니다. 다만, 투어를 마치고 오는 길에 힘든데 스페인계단을 지나고 2층까지 올라오는 것이 힘든거 빼고는 매우 좋은 숙소예요. 스페인계단 쪽 숙박을 고려하신다면 여기 좋아요!

스페인계단 바로 위 호텔이라 여기저기 다니기에 위치가 정말 좋았구요, 호텔의 직원들이 정말 친절하였습니다. 객실도 너무 청결하였어요. 마치 호텔측에서 호텔을 내 집처럼 관리하는 느낌이었어요. 그리고 24시간 제공하는 커피와 핫초코도 너무 좋았습니다. 좋은 위치에 편안한 집같은 느낌의 호텔을 찾을 것 같아요. 다음번 로마 방문시에 꼭 다시 방문할 호텔입니다. 잠시지만 로마에 home을 마련하고 싶으면 주저않고 이 곳으로 선택하면 될 것 같아요! 최고입니다!

Great hotel. Definitely stating there again. Near Spanish steps, Chanel, Dior, LV, etc. or room was in another building. Thru were very helpful with luggage and instructions.

Fabulous hotel at the top of the Spanish steps

This hotel was beautiful. We stayed in the annex and check in/out was a breeze. The room terrace looked out into the square and one night we were serenaded by a woman performing on the street. Breakfast has everything you need, no complaints. Thank you for a wonderful experience in Rome!

Property's location is excellent! Few steps away from the Spanish steps and shopping areas. Very safe, friendly and helpful staff. Property could use some updating.. Otherwise, everytjing else is great..

The hotel was fine and in a unique location at the top of the Spanish Steps. We were in the separate annex building which was good. It was just greatly over priced for the hotel.

Scalinata di Spagna Hotel was the perfect location to explore Rome. We stayed in Room 51, which had a king bed and stunning views of the Vatican. The room was very spacious, beautifully decorated, and spotlessly clean. The comfortable bed gave us some of the best, most restful sleep of our trip. Despite being in such a popular area, the hotel was wonderfully quiet at night. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and made our stay in Rome truly memorable. We especially loved hearing about the history of the building from one of the family members who owns the hotel—it added such a personal touch to our visit. This hotel exceeded our expectations, and we hope to return again someday.

staff was great, location excellent but the hotel is more dated than expected and it was kind of complicated getting to the room. Not sure we would stay there again personally but the staff and location were great!

Nice breakfast each morning. Lots of shopping in the area. At top of Spanish steps. 10-15 minute walk to Trevi Fountain.
