레이오버때문에 잠만 청하기 위해 공항인근 저렴이로 선택. 예약전 이런저런 질문에 피드백이 가장 빠르고 친절하여 기대가 컸으나ㅠ 오래되고 노후한 시설이 친절도와 객실뷰를 깍아먹음. 바로 앞에 해변이 있고... 객실이 너무너무 추움. 완전 비좁 ㅜ 객실자체가 나를 환영하는 느낌이 들지않음. 추워서 그런가?? 작은도시자체는 이쁘고 나름 이것저것 돌아다닐데도 많음. 괜찮았는데. 차갑고 추운기억만 남.

다음날 바르셀로나로 출발하는 비행기 때문에 하루동안 묵었던 호텔, 가격에 비해서 괜찮은 시설, 서비스를 제공하나 와이파이가 전혀 잡히지 않는 문제점이 있었음. 하지만 이 점을 제외하고는 흠잡을 데가 없었던 곳임. 비행기가 연착이 돼서 아쉽게도 밖을 둘러보지는 못했지만 바로 앞에 바다가 있어 여름에도 묵기 괜찮을 곳이라고 생각됨.

대중교통으로 찾아가기가 조금 불편했지만 바다가 보이는 테라스가 있는 방은 가격대비 최고였습니다. 직원들도 친절하였고 방도 깨끗하고 주변 환경도 한적하며 조용하여 휴식을 취하는데 좋았습니다. 바로옆에 맥도날드와 근거리에 레스토랑, 마트등을 찾는데 어렵지 않아서 자주 이용하였습니다.

The check in was fairly fast as they are open 24/7 and the overall staff response was friendly and helpful. We arrived at La Scaletta Hotel by local bus from FCO Rome International airport Terminal 1 Cotral bus stop where we were able to buy a $1.10 Euro bus ticket per adult from the ticket machine located outside Terminal 1 building to Ostia Lido Central. There was a bus/ Metro train transit strike throughout Rome on Friday November 15 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm with sporadic service throughout the system during the day with no guarantee of service. We were able to catch an early morning train before 8:00 am from Ostia Central main train station near the La Scaletta Hotel to get into the Central part of Rome before the transit strike began at 9:00 am. The free buffet breakfast from 7:00 - 10:00 am included a very large selection of nice bakery items, breads, cereals, fruits, yogurts, sliced meats, cheese, juices and a variety of specialty coffees and more. Great value!

Staff was very friendly and easy to talk to. Room was clean and had lots of space.

I stayed at La Scaletta hotel for a night in early November. My experience was overall good apart from the heating in my room which wasn’t functioning. It’s an excellent choice for a 3 star hotel as it is very clean, very good quality of a mattress and pillow and very quiet. The breakfast is made with very good care and has many options. Ther is freshly made capuccino and a home made tart.The location is also amazing right on the beach and close to public transport with many options for eating and drinking in the neighborhood. Safe to walk on your own even during the late hours.

I really enjoy staying here. It is my new go to place if I want to be right outside Rome. I’ve only ever been here in the off season but I imagine summer is really busy. The view from the room is amazing, comfy and clean rooms and the staff is always very welcoming and helpful. I’ll be back!

Personnel sympathique et disponible. Hôtel vieillissant mais impeccable. Petit déjeuner varié. Seul bémol : l'hotel partage la navette pour l'aéroport avec d'autres établissements. Elle n'etait pas au rv le soir de mon arrivée. Il y avait 45 mn d'attente pour le taxi. Il est préférable de s'organiser différemment si arrivée tardive. Le service de navette, comme il est conçu, n'est pas fiable.

Wonderful stay at this hotel. Room was nice, clean and had an air-conditioner. Housekeeping cleaned the room daily. Breakfast was decent with fruits and yogurt available. The guys on reception always greet you with a smile. Besides, this hotel has a good connection to the center of Rome via the trail that departs from Lido station, however the last train from Rome to Lido departs at 9 pm, so if you want to catch it and avoid taking a bus or taxi, don't stay in the center of Rome too late.

Airport shuttle service is limited. It was only available 2 times during the day which did not work for us. The hotel was able to book a taxi for us which was great. Hotel location is in a great place. Very walkable with many restaurants around. The hotel is also accessible by metro and a short walk.

Clean safe hotel across from the beach at a very affordable rate. Stayed one night before catching my flight the next morning, absolutely perfect.
