Too expensive for what we got. Bar and restaurant closed. Personnel not very friendly but very calm location.

Big, elegant room in a big castle with a fancy garden. Dinner is nice, also with a good service. Not so far from Loire river valley. We enjoy our honeymoon here so much!

We love this Chateau! This was our second time staying the Chateau de Marcay and would recommend room 21. The staff is the best! From Claire, Alexander, Samuel, Constantine to the best chef, Romain. I am sure I left out someone but everyone is the best!!! The food is second to none. Chef Romain's creations are a must to try each night. Awesome wine list too!!! This Chateau is located in a small quaint and very quiet town. Great place to have morning runs from too.

Bonito entorno. El personal un tanto antipático, nadie ayuda con el equipaje al llegar y para subir te echan una mano con la cara torcida. El aire acondicionado realmente es un ventilador.

Maravilhoso! Local lindo, tranquilo, ideal para casal. Quarto espaçoso e confortável. Local romântico.

Belle propriété. Service très inégal (petit déjeuner non disponible aux heures indiquées. Sommelier du restaurant très mauvais. Serveurs du restaurant très attentifs).

Hotel/Castelo maravilhoso! Parecia um sonho. Nosso quarto era um pouco velho, podiam dar uma reformadinha, mas o banheiro super grande e moderno (nem parecia que fazia parte do mesmo quarto), Café da manha maravilhoso. Recomendo muito.

Beautiful views, charming old chateau. Gorgeous gardens. Food was excellent. Staff delightful! Hope to come back.

Small castle in the countryside area of Chinon. I had a room at the west wing and it was fine, but access limited with heavy bags. Food expensive and only normal. Good breakfast.

El Chateau me ha gustado, pero no lo recomendaria. Nos vieron llegar con las maletas y bolsas y ni siquiera la persona de recepción se molesto en abrirnos la puerta. Muy lamentable en un hotel de 4 estrellas.

Un hôtel parfait pour le repos . Les chambres de l’aile ouest Au rez-de-chaussée sont idéales pour les propriétaires de chien. Un bémol: le restaurant est de qualité mais 2 heures 30 a 3 heures pour dîner c’est difficile à supporter !

Le top des sejours. Endroit parfait pour un séjour à deux. Personnel très accueillant. Restaurant rien à dire.

お城に泊まっている感じです。みんな親切です。バスタブも大きくゆっくりできます。夕食も素敵に出してくれます。町までは少し距離がありますが、かえってゆっくりできます。田舎ですが最高です。食事も大変おいしいです。

El hotel es hermoso. Un poco retirado. Mantiene la decoración tipo original en áreas comunes. Nos tocó hospedarnis en un ala que se ve, fue ampliada para ser hotel. Más moderna y desentona un poco con la arquitectura original. El buffet del desayuno muy rico y variado. La cena, deliciosa. El oersonal fue muy atento y amable.

Excellent staff and food but a limited menu so a long stay would probably necessitate travel for dinner. Overall excellent

Great respite from hustle and bustle of Europe's big cities. Location, close to Chinnon is great. Staff was friendly and the chateau is charming. Like most of France, the rooms can get a bit warm during a heat wave and internet was a bit intermittent but my wife and I overall loved our stay.
