My wife and I, checked out of the Hotel Vesuvio today after a 7 night stay. We cannot recommend this hotel enough. Emanuele and the team made our stay absolutely perfect. In particular the bedroom cleaner who every day changed bedding, towels and kept the room spotless. The young lady in the restaurant who was a pleasure, going about her work with a smile on her face and nothing being too much trouble. And Emanuele who was so helpful assisting us to plan our days. It’s very apparent that the hotel is managed in such a way that the whole team hope to make guests stay the best it can be. It was a particularly hot week in Rapallo last week, but the air conditioning in the bedroom kept us cool and comfortable at all times. Furthermore the room was lovely and cool on our arrival. Rapallo was the ideal spot for us to explore the coast, with the ferry literally setting off over the road from the hotel and the train station only a 7 min walk away. We have recommended our family to visit Rapallo and stay at the Hotel Vesuvio for all of the above reasons. Peter & Jo

Highly recommended. Our room was bijou, had all mod cons, air-con, spotlessly clean, comfortable with a great view from our balcony. Continental breakfast was more than enough with great choice of breads, fruit, cereal and cakes which were amazing. All the staff were friendly and helpful, especially the hotel manager Manwello who was also very patient whilst my husband practiced his Italian. Great location for food and drink and lovely backstreet shops to explore. Good links to the ferry and train. You won’t be disappointed!

We stayed 4 nights at hotel vesuvio and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The rooms were clean and very well air conditioned. The staff were very kind and even called a taxi for us one night when we were going to dinner on the outskirts of Rapallo (thanks Sophie). We also really liked the free breakfast they provide every morning. I hope we make it back to Rapallo one day and I would definitely stay at hotel vesuvio again!

Un maître d’hôtel très gentil, qui parle bien français. L’hôtel dispose de deux places de parking à 20 euros la journée, ce qui est correct par rapport aux autres parking (15 euros la journée) L’hôtel est très propres, nous avions pris la chambre confort avec vue complète sur la mer, c’était juste incroyable. La chambre est très insonorisée, nous n’entendons pas le bruit extérieur, La literie est très confortable.

Hotel Vesuvio er fremragende som et lille 3 stjernet byhotel. Meget god beliggenhed tæt på Rapallos centrum, tæt på banegård/busstation og dermed med gode udflugtsmulighed til Portofino og til cinqu terra. Lige overfor hotellet er der færgeanløb til Portofino men færgen var aflyst pga bølger. Meget hjælpsom reception. Eneste minus var at Exspedia var arrangør. De lovede transport fra lufthavn til hotel eventuelt mod et mindre gebyr. Prisen var 680 Euro. Det var umuligt at få kontakt til Expedias kundeservice. Så fremover køber vi ikke pakkerejser fra Expedia og Hotels.com.
