I stayed room with Balcony(private pool). Hotel is is good enough. Location is very good to walk to main places. But as always, there are some issues. Room is not so big as shown but clean and enough to stay for 2ppl. Balcony size is big enough, but privacy is not so secure that between balconies to next room, just Partition. It makes me super noisy because of crack(space). Breakfast, it was just ok. Not many food and never change menu. Overall, this hotel is just good to stay again for next visit.

Room was clean, but well loved. The soap dispenser had fallen off the wall and stains on the walls. Very quiet room - great for sleeping. Breakfast was amazing!! Central spot and a roof top little pool to cool off!

Convenient location- close to the main shopping area and sights. Easy to walk to everything and lots available in surrounding streets for all needs.

Breakfast was great even though we didn‘t get a 10% discount in the final invoice despite registering for the membership. We have ordered a Pizza on the rooftop which was really really bad though. The room was ok, a little dusty but overall clean. The AC was not working and we couldn‘t leave the windows open at night (loud street).

Very disappointing stay at Catalonia Hotel 1864. I booked a standard single room for myself, but the room was extremely small and had a strong mouldy smell. When I complained to reception, instead of resolving the issue properly, I was told they could offer me a deluxe room , but only if I paid an additional €138 per night. To me, this felt like a deliberate upselling strategy rather than genuine customer service. Guests should not be pressured into paying huge extra charges just to have a clean and comfortable room. Very unfair and opportunistic experience overall.

The location of the hotel was great. We walked to all the sites. The breakfast buffet in the morning had a good variety and was delicious. The hotel was quiet and clean. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Hotel is in a great location and staff was nice. Room was clean but small and really lacked a place to put luggage for 2 people. Bathrooms exceeded expectations. For some reason the key kept getting deprogrammed and the staff was unable to correct this. It resulted in me coming back to get a new key every time we left the hotel. They made it seem like it was only me but I saw another guest having the same issue. While this wasn’t a terrible problem it was an annoying inconvenience. The staff was apologetic about it. I’m not sure I would stay here again.

Unsere Premium-Zimmer wurden uns wie gewünscht nebeneinander sowie in einer oberen Etage vergeben. Die Zimmer und Bäder waren sehr sauber, die Betten bequem und die Lautstärke nachts Dank schallisolierten Fenstern wunderbar. Das Personal an der Rezeption und im Speisesaal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Angebot am Frühstücksbuffet war hervorragend und die Eierspeisen wurden auf Wunsch frisch zubereitet. Leider lud uns die im Eingangsbereich befindliche Bar nicht zum Verweilen ein. Diese ist viel zu klein und das Licht ungemütlich hell. Wirklich schade, zumal die Dachterrasse/Bar abends aufgrund einer "Geschlossenen Gesellschaft" nicht genutzt werden konnte. Zum Glück befinden sich in unmittelbarer Nähe / über der Straße einige Restaurants/Cafés (z.B. das Restaurant "EL BOLICHE" Del Gordo Cabrera) um abends in gemütlicher Atmosphäre Drinks & Food zu sich zu nehmen.

Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Lage ist sehr gut. Personal war freundlich.
