It was just an all around great hotel

Friendly staff in all areas of service

Small room but the kids lived the bunk bed option. Beds not very comfortable and undersized pillows

The view over the mountain is beautiful Great outdoor seating

We loved that we had a view of Mt. Rushmore from the parking lot. The building was old, however it was very clean and freshly painted.

Hotel was not very clean and outdated. Rooms are very small.

The hotel is nice. Wide variety of foods for breakfast though seating is overly crowded. Rooms are tiny. Barely room. Nice pool and hottub.

The Hotel itself is good, clean, and looked nice. However, the advertisement claimed that different places are within walking distance of the Hotel. This is only true if you don't mind walking down and up a steep incline that is about 300 feet each way. when you finally reach the bottom there is no sidewalk or crosswalk at the bottom to safely walk on. The Hotel also claims to have a view, however it didn't say what the view was. It's only some of the town of Keystone, pine trees and the street below the Hotel. What I considered unsafe was the parking spaces next to the Hotel. The Hotel rooms each have a window type air conditioner below the windows, so if a vehicle backs into the parking space, there is a potential for the vehicles exhaust to be sucked into the in the air conditioners intake and enter the room. The Hotel has no signs posted in the parking spaces next to the Hotel rooms informing people not to back into the parking spaces. A vehicle did back into the space next to my room while I was there.

Very clean , friendly. A place you want to stay

Room was horribly small, 2nd bed was a bunk with foam that didn’t fit! I asked for a change, once he heard “Expedia” he turned rude. Didn’t offer any options , even if I would have had to pay more. Bathroom had/has a leak so bad that tiles are lifting off floor; broken tiles in walk ways, husband pinched his foot. Stains on the carpet in room, bathroom faucet didn’t work, holes in the room walls…

Liked closeness to Mount Rushmore National Memorial. Did not like the lack of secured entry doors.

I enjoyed the view from the mountain it's built on.

Very clean and great service

Great clean, comfortable, updated hotel in Keystone. Loved balcony, had a view of a small part Mount Rushmore. Although we were in town and close to a bunch of eateries the walk up and down the steep hill was too much for our senior legs. Would return again

The staff was friendly. The bed was comfortable. There were plenty of plug ins. But, the wall by the shower head had mold. The bathroom floor needed to be mopped better. The carpet in the room was stained badly. I feel the off season there could be room remodels and deep cleaning.
