The hotel is in an excellent location for shops, bars, restaurants, turtle watching and other amenities. Also, not too far from the airport. The rooms are fine, though relatively basic, as was breakfast. There was no hotel bar. Staff are friendly and helpful. The Spa small indoor swimming pool and sauna are not freely available to residents; you have to pay 25 euros each for an hour, which we thought was way too expensive for what is on offer. There are no outside sunbathing areas, so instead we visited the nearby Mediterranean beach, which is good and not expensive for loungers and parasol. The taxi rank nearby means short journeys are easy, though due to the mountain routes longer trips are expensive. We chose to do a couple of island coach trips, instead, which were very good. People do smoke in some of the ground floor hotel areas, which some may find unpleasant; we simply didn't use those areas, preferring to go elsewhere. Overall, the hotel suited our needs as a base, but it may not suit everyone.

Mi è capitato di essere impossibilità a recuperare la mia auto in sosta perché bloccata dalle altre. La tassa di soggiorno calcolata da expedia è stata raddoppiata in loco.

The location was excellent! Right in the middle of the action. Easy walk to the waterfront....ample selections of great restaurants and very friendly staff!

Great hotel in the middle of the main tourist area. Plenty of restaurants and lots things to do in the local area. Hotel was clean, modern, and comfortable. Very friendly and attentive staff as well.

Overall it’s good but could do with updating, things like very small shower, very old tv (not capable of logging into Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc.), air conditioning automatically cycles between on/off every 5 minutes and it’s a little noisy due to location (but tolerable), also, they have a pool but it’s only for “spa treatments” which finish at 6pm but guests still not allowed to use it!

The property has a great location. Close to airport and within walking distance to water. The staff is friendly. Many activities in the area.

Helpful staff. Weird groundfloor room that felt like we were in a basement. Had to get a hairdryer from reception and the blind in the bathroom broke the first time we tried to use it. We had to fix the plug in the wash basin before we could use it

The hotel is centrally situated in the main square in Argostoli .The rooms are comfortable and well furnished .The staff are very helpful and pleasant .It does lack enough car parking space but it is easy to park at the port and walk .It is a great place to stay if you enjoy dining ,drinking or just people watching in the square .We would definitely stay there again

The Ionian Plaza is in a beautiful square and within walking distance of many good bars and restaurants in Argostoli. The staff are very helpful and the rooms and very comfortable. I had a great stay again.
