I stayed one night at Invercargill in a recent trip to South Island of New Zealand. At Homestead Villa Motel, we were very comfortable. The room was spacious, clean, and well equiped. It is situated close to the center and also close to the Queens Garden, where you can take a morning walk or jogging. We didn't have much time in Invercargill but could have rest at the hotel. If I'll have the occasion to visit Invercargill next time, I'll probably stay at the Homestead Villa Motel. People at reception were very helpful and kind.

Handy place to stay within Invercargill. Nice restaurant across the road, make sure you get the discount! Plenty of free car parking & internet.

I was down there for work, travel all over nz and have to say this was one of the most thoughtful places I have stayed-an electric blanket on the bed made it 10/10 for me and the touch of the kitkat sitting on the bench with a note to have a break, t little touches but make all the difference. I will definitely be back and recommend to other travellers too

We were not at all pleased with the cheap and difficult plumbing faucets and shower. Lowers our opinion of an otherwise satisfactory experience.

Terrific motel, good location with a good pub and very nice restaurant both within a minute's walk. Staff very friendly.
