Excellent place. Clean all was well

The location is unbelievable! You’re not near to the walled city, you’re IN the walked city. The parador is a historic site itself. Explore, duck in for a quick nap, and right back out. Close to Plaza Mayor. Very quiet and beautiful at night. The staff were outstanding- Luis in particular! He provided great help and advice on sites. He takes pride in the town and is a wonderful ambassador for Caceres. Caceres is a fantastic destination!

Incredible hotel: staff, facility, location!

The rooms are very clean. Too much water pressure in the shower. Staff was very accommodating but you have to be proactive to get service in the restaurants. Breakfast was good as was dinner. Parking is very limited. The ambience was amazing

The property is in good conditions and it's located at the historic center. We chose it because it was recommended. But our experience was not good from the beginning. The access to the hotel was blocked and we were not informed in advance. We had to call the hotel after trying to get there for over an hour. Then they sent us written instructions through email. At least the instructions included pictures so we can follow them properly (the streets are very narrow with confusing signs). When we finally arrived, we had to leave the car at a nearby Plaza, walk to the hotel, do the check-in and leave our luggage. Nobody helped us with our luggage. Then they provided us with a QR code to get to the parking space. After that, we had to walk to the Hotel. I understand it's a historic building, located at a historic center but they should provide their guests with a better experience when arriving and leaving the hotel. Also they should at least have coffee available at 7:00 AM for the guests that need to leave early.

Excellent location in the historic part of town. Impressive building, well-maintained and supported by highly professional and competent staff. A unique experience that combines history and comfort.

Very nice staff, but had a room over the street despite phoning reception noise co tinged till almost 3 am, but staff deducted car park fee

Everything was great!

Cute hotel. Clean, comfortable bed, and nice service. Parking can be tricky. Be sure to call in advance to get good directions to hotel and where to park.

Excellent property inside old city. Nicely preserved and upgraded. Understaffed hotel and restaurant resulting in less than adequate service.

Only 15 parking spaces and no advice to book in advance not even mentioned in their mail regarding hotel carpark. Public carpark abt. 8€ by taxi ( parking with hotel reduction abt. 12€). Rather complicated to find and get taxi. No tea/coffee facilities ( or drinking water) in the room. Have stayed in 6 other Paradores on this trip and this is "below standard" compared to all others which were top.

Lugar mágico

The staff at this Parador were wonderful. The rooms were large, quiet and clean. Food in the restaurant was good. Overall, a great experience, including the opportunity to walk from the hotel and see the historic city.

Desk people always with a smile and available!!

We stayed for one night and loved the medieval building and the surroundings as you can reach all the points of interest within a few minutes walking distance. The hotel is the heart of the old town and beautifully located on top of the hill. Lots of hidden bars/cafes in the old town were nice surprises as tou could have a drink within the massive walls of the old town. SecretTip: El Corral de las cigueñas The only complaint in the hotel: The room door slams very loudly and you can hear all the neighboring room doors slam in your own room.
