This is a beautiful old fairytale hotel in fabulous gardens. The food was amazing and the staff were lovely. We can’t recommend it highly enough and hope to return one day

Let’s start with the positive. This could and should be a 5 star hotel (if it was run properly. The grounds themselves were beautiful. That’s all I can say positive. The staff receptionist Caroline was rude, unprofessional and not a nice person. She rolled her eyes at me because I don’t speak good French First they gave me a horrible ordeal over my service dog staying there even though they say on Expedia service dogs are welcome and exempt from fees. They insisted on charging me until I got Expedia involved. The rooms have no air conditioning, there is no refrigerator to keep anything cold nor any microwave to make anything hot. The neared restaurant is 20 minutes by car and the restaurant at the hotel is closed for dinner Monday and Tuesday and essay overpriced. Because of the lack of food options, I did sign up for their 18 euro breakfast which consisted of rotting fruit, crusty hard cheese and bread that had been sitting out for who knows how long, there was no milk or replenishments, it was absolutely dismal. When I checked in the first thing that happened was Caroline asked for my credit card. No Bonjour, no welcome, she was eating a sandwich and reeked of cigarettes. What a terrible shame for what could actually overcome the isolation due to the beauty of the hotel itself. Caroline at reception ruined the entire experience for us.

Séjour reposant. Petit bémol, odeur de canalisation au niveau des toilettes, TV assez ancienne (pas d’applications telles que Netflix ou YouTube).

A very fine hotel, our room was in an anexe stable block, access from the outside up a spiral staircase, not ideal. Large room & bathroom, very dated but very comfortable. Fantastic grounds with loads of space. Very smart restaurant with typically French food. Very helpful staff.

WiFi is terrible, and the restaurant is closed Mondays and Tuesdays

La gestion de la relation clientèle est déplorable. J'entends qu'il puisse s'agir d'un hôtel économique sans véritable management, du moins nous l'avons constaté, mais il y a tout de même un minimum à assurer quand on est professionnels de l'hôtellerie. Aucune gestion de l'urgence, pas de solutions trouvées/livrés à nous-même, et la direction ne répond plus aux emails une fois la région quittée. J'espère qu'il n'y a aura pas d'imprévus à votre séjour, car ils ne savent pas le gérer, ni même l'assumer.

Stayed here for 1 night in late September 2025. The hotel is stunning, with fantastic grounds and gardens. The breakfast was fantastic, and we didn’t expect the chocolate brownie, which was a nice treat. The evening fine dining was expensive but delicious, and the ales and beers from vexin were top notch. The grounds around the hotel feel very safe, and we were able to store 2 bicycles in an outside storage facility, which was secure.

Pittoreskt hotell med vänlig personal och underbara omgivningar. Vi åt även middag på hotellet som var underbart god och som serverades i hotellets fina matsal. Den enda anmälningen vi har är väl i så fall frukosten, den var kanske inte värd priset. Annars var vi så nöjda med vår vistelse och kan varmt rekommendera detta mysiga hotell!

Personnel au top, merci Maeva. Chambre correct mais fuite d'eau de la toiture qui m'a empeché de dormir du fait du bruit du goute a goute sur le sol de la chambre.

Absolutely amazing! What a beautiful and comfortable place. The staff at both the hotel were lovely and helpful. I highly recommend! They have bikes you can borrow, I would suggest taking them for a ride in the nearby paths.

Lots of stairs. No shower. Toilet in tiny room, other bathroom in bedroom. Rude desk person in late afternoon, sweet young woman in morning. Dinner was good. Garden is nice.
