Fantastic staff and the best restaurant we have ever eaten in! A good alternative to Fort Cochi which isn't as nice as is made out to be! The street is very busy but our windows blocked out all noise. Would highly recommend.

I made booking with breakfast included but had to pay for breakfast ! Rs 1480 for two days extra. Expedia found not reliable !

During check in, front desk told the breakfast is complement for 2 days. Finally during check out, they charged breakfast charge, it was not expected.

Excellent location and great restaurant for the best authentic malabar food

It's a legacy hotel on the MG Road in Kochi. Rooms are comfortable and you have a choice of classic and modem interiors. The restaurant serves an excellent choice of Kerala cuisine and multi cuisine. I am a regular there for all the above reasons as well as the hotel's proximity to some good shopping outlets.

AC was not working and WiFi kept turning off.

Staff are friendly and welcoming. Location is very central. Plenty of parking. Valet is available. Little bit of a mess outside on the road as the metro work is going on. Walking is hazardous.

It's an average hotel they served very basic breakfast didnt have much choice for vegetarians staff didn't know English and weren't very accommodating. Elevator smelled like poop.

The Grand Hotel is close to Ernakulam Junction train station and around a 30 minute drive to the Fort Kochi area. It has old world charm but still has modern comforts and is a comfortable stay. The front desk and restaurant staff were friendly and helpful. There was a lot of construction going on in front of the hotel in February 2018 but it was not too much of a disturbance from our room which faced the main road. However if you are in Kochi to visit Fort Kochi it might be worthwhile looking for accommodation there rather than in the main city area.

We never could get a hot shower which disappointed us as the room was really good and spacious.and the bathroom quite large.
