The hotel isn't sound proof at all. It's a hotel made out of a large house. While i was staying, it sounded like the guys next door were in my room because i could hear their every step and chat and felt really insecure because of that. The bathroom and toilet are shared which i didn't expect at all. At least they are kept clean and there's daily cleaning service. The room had a basin. There was no shower gaun though towels were provided. They had good heating on.

Nice room for price but far to hot even with fan on not good if you have disability had to go up 3 flights stairs but not staffs fault should have informed them would be nice if they done food on facilities as i an diabetic had to go out for food and going up them stairs was not good staff helpful if we needed anything room was up to scratch nice and clean

Only problem is there's no food only accommodation. Staff friendly and very reasonable prices.

Room was lovely & plenty of room. Had 3 chairs so able to sit in chair & not on bed. Always a bonus to have more than 1 chair. Had shower & bath

Always a pleasure staying a the Tanes, from the welcoming smile when you arrive to the comfort of the bed you really can’t fault the place.

I enjoyed my stay. There were a few minor issues which I have raised with the owner and hope to report back that they have been addressed. For the price I paid, it was wonderful value.

Spotlessly clean and everything provided. Excellent value.

Their is no staff when you call them and a dog from family barking at me

Clean comfortable room , warm friendly service, shame that the breakfast was unavailable during our stay.

Disappointed only 1 shared toilet and shower in hallway.

Everything was at high standards..... but if you go to the hotel expectations are to find a good sleep and that involved a good mattress. Mine was awful

I had a lovely little single room at the top of the house , it was warm and cosy . This room wasn’t en-suite but there was a toilet and shower nearby . A sink in the room which was fine for me . A friendly and easy check in .

the room was very neglected, no hangers,, no bedsise table , shower didnt work and extremly overpriced, we wouldnt recommend , host was not very attentative

Room was good, comfortable, but seemed a lot smaller than the pictures on Hotels website. Radiator stuck to on, even with windows full open it was too hot. Staff pleasant but, two old folks heading for the top floor and no lift, no offer of help with cases.

The noises of everything around and I didn't feel comfortable and also the were very thin so I could hear everyone

Beautiful spotless room, comfortable beds, 20 minutes walk to town, friendly reception, free parking and WiFi. Only real drawback is the quite narrow parking spaces, and we also thought it was quite difficult to find the entrance to the car park at the back of the property. Bathroom is also a little bit narrow.

Friendly welcome on arrival. Clean room with all necessary facilities. Comfortable bed and very nice en suite shower
