1st room they put us in hadn't been cleaned. Crumbs and sweet paper on the carpet. Told reception and they put us in a different room which had been cleaned but I wouldn't say it was to a particularly high standard. Had chicken and leek pie in the restaurant in the evening. Never seen chicken as a red meat before. Ate half. On a positive note the staff were very polite and courteous. Afraid we wouldn't stay there again.

I arrived just before midnight after a nightmare day and flights from hell and was so pleased to find my room was still available. Absolutely wonderful staff and a cosy, comfortable bed. I was shattered I couldn't have driven any further and still look back and appreciate what the receptionist and manager did for me. Above and beyond, 5 stars. Thank you

I paid extra for an airconditioned room however AC was not working. One of the beds was missing, there was a mattress on the floor which very dusty and not cleaned for a long time. Wallls were stained. Windows were locked, not possible to open. it was the worst experience of a hotel. I do not recomend to anyone. I also would like a refund for this terrible service.

Not bad for overnight stay for value . Disappointing they surve drinks that are not cold . No towels avaliable also on arrival

The day was 31 degrees and the night temperature didn't drop much. There was a fan, but I was appalled that in 2026 a large hotel chain fails to install air conditioning. I had a terrible uncomfortable over-hot night.

Never ever stay at this hotel. This should be shutdown with how dirty and unhygienic is! Found cockroaches and ants! Room is very very grimy Had to move to another and pay an extortionate price for my the extra hotel

Receptionist was super hostile due to us interrupting her phone time, more or less threw the keys at us. No air on in rooms and was 30 + outside, window only opened a couple of centimeters. room was smelly, carpet was filthy, i know it's a budget hotel, but cleanliness costs nothing, walking from the shower to my case and my feet with dirtier that pre-shower.

Room was very hot, although there was a fan in the room, it appeared to be much hotter in the room than the corridor and rest of the hotel, even outside. However it did not stop us having a good night's sleep. A good basic stopover.

The room very a bit dated skirting boards were dusty , cracked tiles in bathroom and long black hairs in shower. Staff on arrival were excellent and breakfast was very good great selection and good quality

Room was in a dreadful state, if I hadn’t arrived late and had an early morning meeting I would have found somewhere else to stay. Atrocious.

Great place to stay if you are travelling with kids. The family rooms were good. We arrived really late in the evening after 11am and were able to food and drink easily from the service station right next door. We also needed an iron and ironing board and the hotel staff were able to get one sorted for us quickly. We stayed one night on route to our final destination.

Worst experience ever. Don’t be fooled by the Ramada name,it’s at best a one star hotel. No air conditioning at all, it was 30 degrees in June and they provided a single desk fan for five of us. We asked for an additional fan and they refused our request. After asking again in 24 hours time they gave us one more fan. There is no sink in the toilet area so have to take dirty hands into bedroom for washing. We asked for the sheets to be changed, they just did the bed sheets and we were forced to sleep on the dirty sheets. There was lots of dust on surfaces. I took pictures but there is no facility to share them on this review. The hotel room was designed in the 1970s. It seems to still have the original carpet and it was filthy with clearly visible stains and very dirty. The whole hotel room has not been changed since it was built, no model features at all other than a small kettle which takes 5 whole minutes to boil. I really can’t think of anything positive on our stay. We were sweating in the night as no air con and only a desk fan, we didn’t sleep much for both our nights stay, got up dripping in sweat. How a so called modern hotel has no air conditioning is unbelievable. Avoid at all costs. The window was locked so could not open it at all. One of the beds was just a mattress placed on the floor so quite difficult to sleep like that.

Grotty room, half fixed, broken tv remote, very loud not at all sound proof, can hear everyone walking past. Plugs in unhelpful places, lime scale in the kettle, dirty mugs.

Dirty, old, noisy, over priced and poor quality restaurant food, staff so disinterested and couldn’t care less about the customer. A truck stop hotel.

Lovely room, excellent breakfast, the rooms could do with an update but otherwise lovely hotel

Room clean and set up as asked, room had a couple of issues (identified to staff who were helpful) location excellent for access to A14, surrounding location noisy and smelly as next to service area. Room warm so needed windows open which wasn’t that pleasant. Breakfast was busy but found a table, food ok, not as good as other brands, many items out when we had breakfast but staff working hard to restock but no fresh fruits, no pastries and juice me mostly empty. Overall ok place for the cost and location.
