It was awesome hotel. Very clean and mordenized facilitirs and kind desk personnels, and good location nearby Mandela Square.

This hotel is quite good for business trip person. Also breakfast is good for me. The lobby is on R Floor not in Ground(First) floor that's why you have to go to upstairs for check-in. Anyway I think good hotel here in S.Africa.

Een prachtig hotel met zeer vriendelijk personeel. Alles was er een anders werd je vriendelijk geholpen. Enig minpunt was dat het zwembad bij de eetgelegenheden was. Dat nodigt niet echt uit om te gaan zwemmen. Verder was ook de omgeving prima: The Mall en Nelson Mandela Square.

Wir hatten ein schönes Executive-Zimmer (Round) mit einem Panoramablick. Das Check in verlief professionell und freundlich, so dürften unser Zimmer bereits um 11:00 Uhr beziehen (vor 14:00!). Obwohl ich das Hotel vorher kontaktiert habe und sie gebeten das Zimmer vorher zur Verfügung zu stellen, da wir bereits früh gelandet sind. Das Frühstück war umfangreich und alles war frisch. Auch die Lage war sehr gut.

When entering the property, you do not feel welcomed. We had to struggle with a porter service to help us with our bags from the car. Then when we reception was very serious, the place is expensive and supposed to be “higher class” but I didn’t know friendliness stopped at a certain star. I wouldn’t rate this as a 5 star hotel. We also didn’t have turn down service at our room, when we had left our room at 6:30pm at arrived late at 11:30pm. Next morning we checked easily requested a porter which was very friendly but overall, it felt cold, snobbish and out right unwelcoming. Not really worth the money, or stars in my opinion.

Excellent Hotel. Great staff. Huge beautiful mall attached and Mandela Square for evening drinks and dinner. Restaurant dinner was great. Good buffet breakfast!

Very welcoming and the staff treated us well on my birthday stay at the hotel. The toilet even had a hand spray, wow! Comfortable and spacious.

Pleasantly surprised to land at DaVinci. Could not have been happier to be there overnight before flying out.

This property is located in a great place for a short stay in Johannesburg. It is basically next to a huge mall where you can spend the day shopping and dining. It is next to the Nelson Mandela square (there is an exit door from the hotel) where you can admire art or take a picture with a tall statue of Nelson Mandela. We only stayed two nights in Johannesburg and then continued our trip. For this purpose the hotel was perfect. In the morning there is a free shuttle to the "Hop on Hop off" tourist bus, which is a great way to get an overview of Johannesburg. We never even got off the bus. Da Vinci hotel is an upscale hotel, clean with great service. I would stay here again if I ever came back to Johannesburg.
