Was a bit disapointed when i booked a Luxuary king bed room with sundeck .on the photo it showed sun loungers and a bath in the bathroom but did'nt get either ,i asked at the reception to say have they put us in the wrong room but she said no that was right,i said its misleading and not what i was exspecting said they should change the photo and discription .apart from that everything else ok .

Room was beautiful and clean comfy beds and well ventilated. Staff were all very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great good choice of food although the full English did seem a little small . Lovely food in both restaurants with amazing views of the bay. Spa looked amazing didn’t use it as weather was so hot we went to the beach instead this time.

St. Michael's hotel and spa was very clean and beautiful inside. We had a lovely lunch and then went to look around the facilities. We were disappointed that the spa facilities were not included in the price of our stay. At £40 pp it was too expensive. The staff were really friendly and helpful and always had a smile on their faces. The food at lunch and dinner was very nice but I was surprised that you had to pay extra for your vegetables. Normally they would be included in your meal. Breakfast was very nice and there was a lot of choice. Our room was disappointing because we were put in a separate house to the main hotel. It was an old building and our room had a cot in it that took up too much space and you couldn't move. We had to dismantle it ourselves. There wasn't much room. On one side of the bed at all so it was difficult to get in and out. The room was also cold and damp and it smelt damp. We had to put the heater on and as we did the TV and mirrors steamed up ! Our room phone didn't work and the radio didn't work. So we couldn't call reception to book a meal in the sink hotel.

Absolutely loved our stay here and wish we could’ve stayed for longer.. I didn’t get a chance to use the pool or the spa as we had such lovely weather and we’re enjoying the beach. Staff lovely, comfy bed and lovely shower!

Overall good experience but after finding out the phone in the room did not work I went to the restaurant and paid for a room service order (just a pizza and fries) this was about 7-10. At 9pm the order had still not arrived so I went to ask at the restaurant. After checking with the kitchen The helpful member of staff informed me they will start it now and bring it to my room ASAP but they would remove the food charge. I got the food just after 9-30 and today my card has been charged for the food so as much as I know mistakes happen this feels like a bit of a mickey take.

fantastic stay. super friendly staff, stylish hotel. great to have a stage in the Gardens for the Shanty fedtival. Room with Sun deck was perfect. Ate at the bar in the evening - v tasty and also great breakfast . High end hotel with relaxed and friendly vibe .

St. Michaels hotel is pretty nice, staff were friendly. Due to schedule change I asked for one night extension which has been taken care. Unfortunately, it rained quite heavily during our stay, so we were unable to explore the surrounding areas entirely.

Excellent hotel in a great location very close to the beach. I had a single room which to be honest was a little small but perfectly adequate for a short stay. The hotel is clean and has many great facilities. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order with a selection of continental food at the buffet. Short 10 to 15 minute walk to the town centre or 20 minutes if you follow the coast road. Well worth a stay, thank you for a pleasant experience.

The staff were lovely and the room was clean except for tissues behind the bed at the bottom of the headboard, when I dropped my laptop. Other than that the hotel was lovely and the spa and breakfast was the highlight of my stay. aI do wish I got a proper tour around the hotel I was just directed where to go to my room but thats about it. the complinentart Cornish tea bags were great and I love the ship decor type of theme. Overall , I had a great stay wish they had daiquiris on the menu at the bar, never the less the hotel bar and breakfast was lovely.

Following surgery my husband and I spent a couple nights away at this wonderful resort. Due to limitations with mobility we did not venture away from the hotel other than to visit the beach cafe opposite for dinner and instead enjoyed the resorts own gardens and spa. I pre booked a full body massage which was very relaxing and therapeutic. Whilst there my husband and I booked the 2 hour hydrothermal experience which costs £40 for guests or £25 as an add on if you have booked a massage. It was well worth it as we had gorgeous weather so made full use of the outdoor facilities too. Afterwards we went into the garden which offered a little shade from the hot sun and read our books. Feeling a little hungry we ventured inside to eat in Nourish where we enjoyed freshly cooked pizza, quiche n salad leaves, homemade coleslaw which we shared. Breakfast is served in the Brasserie restaurant offering a great variety of fresh fruit, yoghurt, juices, meats, cheese, pancakes, croissants, toast and a choice of freshly cooked breakfast meal choices. The beach opposite gave a beautiful backdrop to our relaxing break away. The staff are welcoming, helpful and spend time on the guests to talk and check all is as it should be.

Room was spacious, but under a function room, and the noise transmitted down. We had cool weather, and the room was warm. No aircon, so can imagine it would be very uncomfortable in hot weather. The room telephone and TV did not work when we got the room. Fixed the next day. TV was not networked, so no iPlayer etc. The Sundeck advertised with the room was a private patio outside. Ok, but not really private. Also cigarette butts not cleared away from previous occupants. Pool and gym ok but busy with non-guests. Spa very nice, but £40 pp for 2 hours in the facilities was too much to consider. Restaurants ok, but pricey for what you got. Staff all very friendly though.

The staff were all absolutely smashing - everyone we spoke to from the check in desk to the pool staff to the bar and the restaurant team - we were so grateful and impressed by their kindness, friendliness and professionalism. They all really made our stay - they are a credit to you. We arrived in town a little early and it was no problem to grab a spot in the carpark and use the pool before check in. Pool was lovely and clean, sundeck was a real treat. We will be back!

Our second stay here. This time our room was in the Beech House. We had a view of the sea from the small outdoor space. The food and service was amazing like before. Will definitely be back again.
