Romantik Hotel Zell Am See exceeded our expectations. Perfectly located; a short walk from the train station with a beautifully decorated lobby and bar area. The staff at reception were pleasant and efficient and suggested hiking trails close to the hotel. The spa facilities were wonderful. We booked an apartment with a full kitchen and a balcony overlooking the mountain. Highly recommend a stay at Romantik Hotel.

Romantik Hotel Zell am See was the absolute highlight of our honeymoon. From the stunning lakeside location to the warm, welcoming atmosphere, everything about our stay was unforgettable. Our room was incredible—spacious, beautifully designed, with a balcony overlooking the lake and our very own in-room sauna. Waking up to the view, sipping Prosecco on the balcony, and ending the day with a private sauna session felt like something out of a dream. The hotel’s wellness area is just as impressive, with multiple saunas, a serene indoor pool, and that perfect Austrian spa vibe. After days of adventuring, it was exactly what we needed. Special shoutout to DJ at the front desk—he was hands-down the best hotel staff we encountered anywhere in Austria. Friendly, helpful, and just a genuinely great guy who made us feel right at home. We can’t recommend this hotel enough. If you’re coming to Zell am See, this is the place to stay. Romantic, relaxing, and truly unforgettable.

Grande parte da minha decisão em reservar este hotel foi a piscina externa aquecida, para poder relaxar em um dia frio de inverno. No entanto a piscina não estava quente o suficiente, de maneira que não era possível permanecer nela na área externa. Avisamos a recepção mas mesmo assim não foi corrigida a temperatura da água da piscina

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel. We were treated to an upgrade to the honeymoon suite, which was such a lovely surprise and made our time in Zell am See even more special. The staff were so welcoming and friendly and looked after us well. We loved the cosy bar area with log fire and the food in the restaurant was amazing! The spa/sauna area was clean and didn't get too busy. The hotel is right in the centre of the town, so very convenient and it was nice and quiet. I can't really fault anything and would highly recommend a stay here!

Absolutely loved the spa, space and decor of our bedroom and helpful staff. Only complaint was noise late at night and early morning from the kitchen under our room

noisy street sounds. no privacy from the street. no A/C. but super nice staff!

Travelled with a group of friends and several children. The hotel is charming, the bulk of the main building being very old with some modern additions to the rear. The staff were always friendly and accommodating. We all went half board and were well fed with good food. Breakfast was a wealth of choice, both continental and some English staples. Dinner was equally good, you could effectively have a 5 course meal every day. A great hotel in a great setting both winter and summer. Thank you so much Sabine and Family

Beautiful old hotel in wonderful town, great staff. Wonderful breakfast. Comfortable room. Wished we had brought our swimsuit, great spa area.

Location is great, reception staff were attentive and friendly. The authentic Austrian thene was a bit too much and a bit too old for our taste

Centralt placeret i byen. Morgenmad med fint udvalg. Værelse og badeværelse af ok størrelse. Desværre var udluftning fra køkkenet på vores side af hotellet, og dermed kunne vi sjældent åbne vinduet. Ligeledes blev gangen i den del af hotellet vi havde værelse i fyldt med udluftning fra køkkenet især om morgenen. Der var ikke frit valg af bord til morgenmad - og hvis man har booket fra hotels.com er man andenrangsgæst - hvilket oplyses sort på hvidt i deres daglige nyhedsbrev. Det betød også, hvis man ville spise aftensmad i restauranten, kunne man kun reservere et udendørsbord mod ekstra betaling i forhold til andre gæster.

Virkelig skønt og hyggeligt hotel. Dejlig centralt. Og god mad både morgen og aften. Også god service med gratis strøm til bilen.
