Charming establishment for me, my husband and our two small dogs. Spacious and close to all the best places in Carmel.

I like the proximity to downtown and surrounding areas, however we were surprised that the "private parking" only has 10 designated spaces for the 18 rooms available. Being as we arrived on a Saturday made it a challenge to find a close enough area to park to unload our baggage. It did get easier as the week progressed. The rooms were clean but could have been mopped prior to our arrival. The floors were not as clean as we would have liked as our socks became dirty immediately. One bathroom sink was clogged from what looked like debris from a tree but the staff was great and maintenance took care of it immediately. Overall a great stay with plenty of space and somewhere I would consider staying again.

Excellent location and room was large and comfortable. However, the floors were so dirty that our feet became grimy. Floor of the shower became black as soon as we stepped in and rinsed our feet. Had to wear slippers inside at all times, but hard to do with a child.

Our stay during 4th of July was convenient. The actual hotel room was nice, clean, although I did find hair on the shower curtain and bed sheets. Otherwise it was a nice stay. Downfall- very limited parking definitely not enough parking spaces. The actual parking lot was only for at the most 7-8 cars. But I must say, that this hotel is located in a nice area…it was very quiet and not too much car or foot traffic. An elevator would be nice…only had 2 staircases.

We had such a lovely stay at the inn. We came after office hours, but they had a simple check in available. We loved the partial ocean view. The doors to the rooms open up on top to let in the cool air. The fireplace in the room was such a nice addition. The courtyard also had a fireplace with tables and chairs. The room had almost everything we needed- it didn’t have a microwave, so I would suggest to the owners to add one in each room. Parking was ok- almost always full, but there were a couple spots on the street too. A short walk to the shops in town and the beach! Perfect location on a quiet street. Overall a wonderful stay and highly recommend!

It was a very quaint and cute. The staff is fantastic. I lost an item and they were able to return it to me, very grateful. I would come back again.

Close to resturants and shops. Very nice room

We checked in after the front desk closed but staff made it easy for us to find and get into our room. Clear instructions on how to operate the equipment inside the room. Wifi is weak. Check out is easy. Location is GREAT!

Terrific location, but the inn and rooms can use an upgrade. Parking in the area was scarce and we had to wait for the night clerk to leave so we could use his parking spot. Also, the floors were dirty and there was actually sand in both of the queen beds! We had to brush off both of them. Weird!

Nice and comfortable stay. A pool or spa would’ve been perfect.

Very nice place. Easy access to Ocean Ave and everywhere else. The host is very friendly as well. I got the executive suites with adjacent rooms and my boys loved the main room and the queen size bed. Will definitely choose this place again next time in Carmel. Jon

Really nice

This was a cute little place to stay, centrally located, and phenomenal customer service. The parking was limited when we arrived on a Saturday evening. Aside from that, we enjoyed our stay.

Staying here was the best decision we’ve made for a vacation. The price was amazing and the location was perfect. It was very walkable from downtown Carmel and the beach. It was mostly quiet (except early morning traffic which was easily taken care of with the windows closed). The bed was so comfortable and everything was well stocked/clean. Can’t wait to stay again!
