The part we stayed in was the cottage, which was a little bit rundown could do a good lick of paint but spotlessly clean the food in the staff were excellent but thought slightly overpriced for the accommodation itself however would go back there again but maybe not in that room

Check in was quick. The room was a great size with a very comfortable bed. Everything was spotless. The range of tea, coffee, water and biscuits was excellent. The breakfast was also excellent. The bar in the evening was a bonus. Would definitely recommend this place and will be back

We loved this place. Out of town a bit but beautiful area. The pub attached to the hotel was lively. Had a great meal at the Smugglers Rest up the road. Comfortable bed and a great shower. Breakfast was also wonderful. Would highly recommend.

Whether it was the incredibly kind staff, the incredible breakfast, the great room, or the general home-away-from-home atmosphere that defines Flynn’s, you have to check this place out!

Appreciated the gate for the secured parking. Was greeted at the door. The lady at the front desk was very gracious. She gave us options for dinner and walked up to show us our room. It is located near to Drogheda. We enjoyed spending time at the Grey Goose.

A lovely place in a quiet village. Everyone was very nice, service was great, morning breakfast was fast and tasty. We arrived for check in a little late and entered through the pub… The bar tender was also the concierge. We stayed in the carriage house and had the company of a very friendly pair of cats! Relatively close to Bru Na Boyne if your intent is to see Newgrange and Knowth. Only things you should be aware of: The nearest gastro pub is a little over 2 miles away. Don’t be put off by the drive through the dodgy end of Drogheda, Termonfeckin is a lovely town

Stafff was quite helpful, but there was no staff to turn keys in to in the morning. Had to find one of the waitstaff. Also, never could get the wi-fi connection to work

Interesting place to stay. Note they only do breakfast

You have to call reception to get through a gate to the property. A seemingly grumpy lady came out and let us in. A nice young man checked us in but the information he gave us about local restaurants was incorrect. The TV in our waterside room work on and off (bad signal?) and the WiFi was nonexistent which was very frustrating. The room was clean and had all the usual amenities except face towels (flannels or washcloths).

Flynns has lots if charm, has been beautifully renovated and the staff is gracious and charming. It’s the perfect location to explore Newgrange and come back and be close to an expansive beach at Seapoint.
