Great location, clean rooms, and great breakfast. Staffs were friendly. But they don't stay in the same building, so you have to call or go to a next door to find the staffs when you check in.

Nice staffs, clean room, good breakfast.

I was originally meant to stay in the Air Bnb but they changed me to the lodge, which was awesome. The room was great and the service was awesome.

Firstly, this property could have offered a shuttle service for a bit more to make it more convenient as the location is a bit out of the main CBD. Secondly for the price charged I expected a ‘cooked’ breakfast which was rather disappointing, it was not offered instead of cereals, toast, spreads, juices and a variety of milk, tea & coffee, it was fairly basic for the amount charged for a night

Not the nicest of places, but I was able to get a good shower and comfortable bed for the night.

A hidden gem. Great location and room. Would stay again.

Nice place to stay.

Didn't actually stay there the night so can't really say that much, staff was friendly and informative of the surrounding area and parking was very convenient.

We booked this accommodation two days prior to arrival. We were running late as we stopped at the thermal pools and John called to check up on us. The check in was efficient and our room (#3) was excellent. Although we spend on one night there, it was a very comfortable stay. The location is great and we were able to enjoy the drone show and night market. Highly recommend this place.

This was the wierdest place we stayed at during our trip to NZ. We stayed at B&B. The kitchen area was nice to use, breakfast was ok. Everything was clean. Situated in the center, free parking. The room though was super tiny. Nowhere to even put our suitcases. No nets in windows when there is no AC! We had tons of insects inside as we stayed during hot days. It's also impossible to get the room to cool down as there is no through ventilation. The bathroom is also super awkward. No exhaust fan. Absolutely nowhere to put your toiletries, no shelves, no hooks, towels stay wet since again there no air movement. Our room was next to the kitchen so with open windows we heard all cars and all people that got up early. Absolutely do not recommend.

Enjoyed our overnight stay in Lake Lodge. It was a good location and the continental breakfast was a lovely bonus.

Clean and tidy with friendly staff

location, location, location. Basically you are in easy walking distance to everything that you need ie. great cafe's (Eat street), shops, and a 20 min walk to the architectural sites. It is opposite but not on the lake. It was an easy drive to all the geothermal sites. Breakfast was excellent. Staff friendly and very helpful.

A beautiful B&B complimented with exceptional service.
