Not just a hotel, but an oasis! After an overnight flight and then a 3+ hour drive from Madrid airport, Hotel Hospes de Palacio Arenales & Spa was just what we needed. We luxuriated by the pool and were fortified with snacks and drinks at the pool bar. We also booked an hour in the spa, which was refreshing. The staff was unfailingly polite and helpful. The only negative was that there was a Saturday night wedding, and we could hear some of the guests noisily tromping through the hallways at 2am.

Beautiful hotel in beautiful surroundings.

This hotel is like an oasis in the desert. The location is spectacular and there are plenty of walks to go on with the dogs. The staff are ultra friendly and the facilities are second to none. We have been coming here for many years and it has never disappointed us. They opened the outside swimming pool while we were there and that was an added bonus

I am very very picky and only stay in familiar chain hotels. Took a gamble and hit the jackpot staying here. Exceeded my expectations. The ONLY annoying thing was the twin beds pushed together which did not work. Other than that this is a top tier resort with a lot of attention to the most minute details. I would highly recommend this resort to the picky traveler like me.

Absolutely superb hotel, brilliant staff, very customer centric and helpful. Excellent food, dinner & breakfast were sublime .. definitely on my bucket list to return for longer, as so much to see, do and unwind

Lovely hotel convenient for stop off on trip from northern Spanish ports to the Algarve. Fantastic taster menu with wine which was also very reasonable. Highly recommended.

great place to stay with a bit of luxury. spa v nice. lovely grounds for walking dog. good breakfast.I did think that €30 for dog stay was a little pricey

La limpieza de la habitación en el segundo dia no se hizo, después de que colgamos el aviso antes de ir a desayunar y volvimos y no se había hecho la limpieza, después dimos un paseo por los alrededores del hotel y tampoco se hizo. Como queríamos descansar decidimos que no se limpiara. Creo que deberían dar prioridad a los habitaciones que tienen estancia continua.

A little distance from the town centre but very comfortable and pleasant hotel

One of our favourite hotels in Spain. Stayed many times now. Convenient location. Peaceful and relaxing. Complimentary Spa available to guests. Friendly staff and atmosphere of the hotel. Highly recommended. Dog friendly which is how we found the hotel initially in our search If visiting in summer take in the sunset from the pool restaurant and watch the cranes return to their nests. Memorable experience

Beautiful hotel and the spa is gorgeous. Staff was terrific. Reception staff super helpful. Definitely a great five star choice.

Magnifique, juste les chambres un peu sombres avec petites fenêtres

Mucjas cosas muy bien pero habia una boda el sabado por la Noche con musica muy fuerte usta muy tarde. No me parece respetuoso de los clientes de no decirlo a la reserva. Cuando viene para relajarte no es lo mejor.

Todo, este sitio es el paraíso

Hotel com uma boa cozinha ( restaurante ) , boa adega , parking coberto, localização de fácil acesso e bom café da manhã. Intalaçòes com odor de banheiro , spa com temperatura de água não adequada, bastante recortado e diferentes níveis. escadas, ainda que tenha uma configuração plana. Um apsecto subterrâneo que não nos agradou.

This is a brilliant hotel, in an excellent location so close to the motorway. I thoroughly recommend it.
