Lot of positives: Outstanding location right across the road from the beach where you can rent lounge chairs with cushions, umbrellas, paddle boards and kayaks for a nominal fee! Two restaurants and a lounge bar bookend the beach! The hotel is also a 10-15 minute walk from Old Town Cavtat and on average 15 minutes away from the airport! The outdoor pool is big and the outdoor areas are well maintained. Guests can also enjoy a sauna room, steam room, and a salt room at no extra charge. The views from the pool, the beach, and rooms with water facing balconies are spectacular and the sunsets are amazing!
The negatives: Rooms are very small and the family room would not comfortably accommodate 2 adults and 2 children. There are very few outlets in the rooms and only one in the bathroom that is not able to accommodate any adapter making it difficult to get ready. NOTE: the outlets are recessed and circular. In order to use square adapters, an extender is needed. MOST NOTABLY: The food at the breakfast buffet is horrible. All foods are prepared ahead of the time and then placed in pans including eggs and pancakes. There is no table service for coffee or juice and the juice offered is a watered down fruit drink. While we didn't do the all inclusive, lunch and dinner options looked just as bad. The drinks at the bar however were great! ALSO NOTE: clean pool towels are only available one hour a day.
Overall, the positives did outweigh the negatives and we enjoyed out stay!
