좁지않은 크기의 방과 깨끗하고 편안한 침대가 있어 휴식하기 적당했습니다. 조식까지 먹을수있어서 좋았네요

It's just to spend the night and continue with the itinerary. Probably I will not recommend, mainly because it is mentioned that reception is available until 22.00 and I arrived by 20.30 and no one was there, most of the lights turned off and only an envelope with my name and key.

Friendly staff, spacious rooms

Fantastic place to stay, very friendly staff, very peaceful.

There is not much to do around town but we stopped here along the ring road. The staff was friendly and we saw the northern lights right above the hotel. There is a gas station right across the street as well but that’s about it. On Expedia, under hotel amenities and things to do it says sauna. I want to warn people there is NO SAUNA. There is a TV but it’s not a smart or streaming TV so you get four stations and they are all cops lol. There is a kettle in the room with tea which was nice. Breakfast was okay- nothing special. Probably wouldn’t stay here again.

I give 4 because I think they should clear snow and ice at the front door. Beside of this , stuff is nice and breakfast on time.

Check in process was easy. Staff was great. The only reason I gave it. A four star was on the carpet on the stairs is getting worn out. Would stay afain

Staff helpful. All basic amenities (even shampoo conditioner and bath gel!) and a hot water kettle. Helpful for us tea drinkers. Restaurant serves good horse and lamb steaks at reasonable price (by Icelandic standard) and a good breakfast spread. Easy to locate just off the round island Hwy 1.

Friendly staff. Clean hotel with restaurant on site (booking advised). Room was good size with country views. Breakfast was good.

Peaceful, great views, very nice home, management very attentive

Got in super late. Staff was super helpful. Had my son join last minute and she put a mattress together in our room for us. Super helpful.

Our room was larger that many we have stayed at on this trip. Bed was comfortable and clean. Restaurant was great. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Frábær þjónusta hjá einstaklega vinalegu og þjónustulipru starfsfólki. Maturinn upp á 10. Herbergið mjög fínt og rúmið einstaklega þægilegt. Heilt yfir var dvölin alveg súper og ekki skemmdi skagfirska sumarblíðan fyrir.

Nice stay

This is an older property that could use some updates... carpets, linens and the bathroom. It did have everything we need and it was a sight for sore eyes after driving from the east in a snow storm. The staff were amazing... friendly and wanted to help however they could. I would recommend this property.

Excellent

Great stay at Hotel Varmahlíð as we drove the Ring Road. Friendly staff, comfortable beds, easy parking and clean room. We enjoyed the dinner and breakfast from their hotel restaurant.

Við vorum mjög sátt við dvölina. Rúmgott og snyrtilegt herbergi, rúmin góð og baðherbergið fínt. Maturinn var fullkominn í alla staði og starfsfólkið alveg frábært. Allt eins og best verður á kosið 😊
