한번쯤 와서 묵을만한 훌륭한 숙소 다시한번 경험하고 싶은 좋은 숙소 멋짐

정말 레알 동굴이다. 최대한 보존하는 측면에서 지어졌기때문에 진짜 동굴에서 원시체험을 하는 기분이다. 전기로 들어오는 불도 최소화 되어있고 촛불을 켜고 있어서 침침하고 TV도 없다. 그래서인지 뭔가 옛날로 돌아가 지내는 기분이 들어 새롭고 놀라운 시간이었다. 가구들도 모두 예전 가구들을 고쳐 쓴 것이라그런지 고가구 느낌 뿜뿜에 멋졌다. 다만 방에 오래있다가 해뜨고 밖에 나가면 눈부셔 죽는다 ㅎㅎ인생에 한번쯤은 경험해볼 가치가 있는 호텔이었다. 아침식사도 훌륭했고 식당에서 제공하는 점심식사도 맛있었다. 직원들도 친절하고 서비스도 무척 좋았다. 앞마당에서 내려다보는 건너편 공원 뷰도 정말 환상적이고, 밤에 별도 참 많이 보여 꿈만 같았다. 관광지와의 접근성은 매우 좋으나 해가 지고는 마테라 특성상 조금 다니기가 무섭긴 하다 ㅎㅎ 미슐랭 스타 식당(Vitantonio Lombardo Ristorante)과도 굉장히 가까워 숙박하며 다녀올만하다. ZTL 바깥쪽이랑 호텔이 상당히 멀고 마테라 특성상 큰 짐을 들고 ZTL밖에서부터 이 호텔까지 걸어가는 것은 가히 지옥행이라 할 수 있으므로 짐이 많거나 무겁다면 필히 호텔이랑 제휴된 주차장(Parcheggi Nicoletti Michele)을 예약해 이용하기를 추천한다. 하룻밤에 28유로라 저렴하진 않지만 마음놓고 차를 세워둘 수 있고 차를 가져와서 호텔까지 짐과함께 데려다주니 매우 편리하다.

매우 특별했던 스테이였습니다 동굴의 특성상 어두웠던점만 빼면 모든것이 완벽했습니다 이 특별한 투숙 경험을 잊지 못할것 같습니다 특히 뷰 포인트를 가보기 위해 늦은밤 택시를 요청했는데 친절히 저렴한 가격에 택시를 불러주셔서 감사했습니다

I stayed in Sextancio for a night and it was a perfect stay. The staffs were absolutly kind and helpful and the sassi room was perfectly unique and well-organized not to mention the breath-taking scenery of Matera. I’d like to send special thanks to the stafff Marienza and Emilia. See u next time,again!

I appreciate for all those amazing experiences they provided. Will definitely come back in close future. It was a beautiful, well-reserved caves, and the breathtaking panoramas, and the most amazing breakfast with the amazing local foods. They tasted pure and natural with full of flavors. And all the staffs were happily willing to help me with everything with warm heart. If u have a plan to visit Matera, please don’t miss the chance to stay at least a night in Sextantio. Highly recommended.

마테라가 가진 독특한 분위기를 고스란히 느낄수 있는 정말 유니크한 호텔이었습니다. 애초에 마테라에 가기전부터 이 호텔외에 다른 호텔은 고려하지 않았는데, 기대했던 만큼 만족스러운 경험이었습니다. 사시지구에 위치한데다가 리셉션 직원이 마테라의 ‘그랜드 캐년’이라고 소개했던 계곡이 바로 앞에 펼쳐져 있어서 경관도 멋졌습니다. 호텔 뒷편으로 올라가 사시지구를 관광하기에도 좋은 위치였습니다. 호텔객실이 동굴이었지만 침구류와 욕조 등 시설이 고급스러웠고, 곳곳에 켜둔 촛불이 운치를 더해줬습니다. 객실 테이블에 차려진 웰컴 과일도 좋았구요. 동굴 식당에서 먹는 아침 식사도 멋졌습니다. 직원들도 무척 친절했습니다. 다만 한가지, 객실이 동굴이다보니 아무래도 살짝 습하고 어두운 느낌은 있었지만 색다른 경험이었기 때문에 큰 문제가 되지는 않았습니다. 마테라 관광을 계획하는 분들에게 적극 추천하고 싶습니다^^

구시가안쪽에 자리잡고 있어, 찾아가기 조금 힘들었으나.. 호텔측에서 사전에 메일로 상세하게 가는 길 및 주차에 대해서 상세히 알려주었으며, 발렛파신청하여 주차할 경우 ztl구역 차량 통행에 대해서 신경을 쓰지 않아도 되는 점이 특히 좋았습니다. 마테라를 관광하기에 최고의 장소이면서도, 동굴호텔 또한 경험할 수 있어 아주 만족합니다.

We had trouble finding the parking garage! One phone call and Jennifer got us there step by step. Very helpful to say the least. We were given a warm greeting upon arrival. The staff were all friendly and pleasant to talk with. Our room was very clean and inviting. There were beautiful candles lit in the bedroom and bathroom. A table was set up with fresh fruit and a pitcher of water. Elegant napkins and tableware were provided. Our two day stay was really wonderful.

Me hospedei na suíte 03, com muito espaço, banheira e uma área externa incrível. Um lugar único, tudo com muita atenção à originalidade. Café da manhã fantástico com produtos regionais e fresquissimos. Vale cada centavo.

Everything nice

We stayed in Le Grotte della Civita #8 It was incredible! It truly is a cultural, restoration project. The caves are cozy, well lit, candles, soaking tub (I miss). Their afternoon Aperitivo is lovely. The breakfast is phenomenal. The staff goes above & beyond to assist you. Definitely recommend parking at their recommended parking area (they will come & collect you & your luggage). Thank you Sara, Paolo, Brunella Emilia, Pasquale. They will assist you with tours, actives as well

This is more than a hotel, it is an experience. The concept of cave dwelling is preserved while indulging the guest in the sensual experiences of light, taste, and textures in understated luxury. Very unusual, and cannot be copied.

Excellent accueil et endroit hots norme plongé dans l'histoire, tout est bien soigné et parfait pour une expérience en couple ou en famille.

This is an INCREDIBLE hotel...from the initial communication, arranging our ground transportation, being met by Jennifer and given a history of Matera to the stunningly beautiful cave we slept in, this was a perfect place. The breakfast was beautiful and delicious. The setting of Matera is stunning. My only regret is that we only had one night there. I am already trying to plan a return trip.

I wish that I could give 10 stars to Sextantio! The property is stunning, the town is wonderful, the views are breathtaking, and the staff is incredible. If you are visiting Italy, Matera is a must. It is a completely unique ancient city with a history that shows the adaptability of human kind. Take part by staying at Sextantio.

Simply outstanding. Perfect!

This property deserves a big thumbs up. Cave rooms were very well designed with a lot of attention to detail (lights, candles, custom shower gels). Breakfast was one of the best I had recently with a lot of local cheese and fruits instead of banal buffet items. Ricotta was simply amazing. Staff was polite and helpful. I would definitely stay again. The only recommendation I would give is that since each room is unique I would put each room and its images separately instead of room category.

Everything was outstanding - property, condition, staff, food, response to questions and follow-up communication. We strongly recommend this - certainly worth every cent. The parking in town with the shuttle is expensive but there is no other easy way to do it.
