Location was perfect. Beach view was excellent. Breakfast was extensive, very good. Sitting on porch overlooking the water was perfect!

Our room was small but adequate. The breakfast buffet was very good and the staff worked very hard to keep tables clean and to make sure all of the breakfast items were available. We swam at the beach across the street so did not use the pool, but it looked inviting.

First, the good points: The hotel is spotlessly clean, the air conditioning worked well, and the staff at reception were very helpful. The bustling centre of town is about 20 minutes walk away along a beautiful promenade. The paid car parking at the hotel was invaluable, as parking in town is a nightmare. We didn't try the pool, but it looked lovely. Then the not so good points: The breakfast was very limited, the same each day, scrambled eggs and bacon the only hot options, plus slices of processed cheese and meat. We were B&B, so did not try the evening meal. The huge disappointment was our room (119). We had booked a Triple room with sea/pool view, but the view from our balcony was nothing like the beautiful photos on the Expedia website, The sea view was partial at best, the main view from 119 was the flat roof of the restaurant immediately below our balcony, the side of the adjacent balcony, (making it mainly in shade) and also into the rooms of the adjacent hotel. There was loud partying from here each night until 12:30am. As our room was above the kitchen, there was a sound of cooking before breakfast and dinner. The extractor fan pumped out onto our balcony, and condensation dripped onto shoes left out there. Luckily no harm done. We asked to be moved to a room on a higher floor, but the hotel was fully booked. Final point, whilst the room was spacious, everything was open to view, plenty of hanging space, but not a drawer anywhere. Such a disappointing hotel.

Very nice stuff in the reception. Room OK, view good, pool area good. All good, except for the girl at the bar thursday Oct. 2. She played crappy music - too loud. The clients around were aged between 65 and 75, and the noisy music were meant for people the same as the waitresses, and when people complained about it she got mad, telling (twice) "this is a bar" So. She played music for herself, not thinking/minding about the people sitting there. BAD!

Top Frühstück - insgesamt sehr gut - einziges Manko, dass es nicht zu hervorragend gereicht hat: Wackelige Haken und instabile Duschvorrichtung im Bad.

Really good

This was an average stay for us. There was no water at reception and there were extra charges for towels and parking. There were no facilities to make drinks in the room. We have received a more attentive service from similar hotels. Given we were there for 7 nights, staff made no effort to engage. There was a limited selection for breakfast and we felt the quality of items was average. The selection of bar food was also poor. The positives were the location of the hotel (opposite a beach and only 20/30 minutes flat walk to the old town) and the pool area which was kept very clean. The public areas including the breakfast room lacked good air conditioning, they were always warm and stuffy. Overall this was an average stay which could have easily been a good one with improvements.

Room and breakfast are pretty basic (fair 2 or 3 stars), but everything else was very good: the hotel is located at a walking distance of the old town and also a walking distance (but on opposite direction) of Pia Maria beach (there is also a beach in front of the hotel). Very clean and well maintained pool, good bar service at the pool, excellent front desk service (very nice people), clean room and the shower room near the fitness room allowed us to stay at the beach until the afternoon in the last day of our stay (they let us keep the blue pool towels and the room white towels many hours after the check out in the last day, in order for us to use them all day)

Wir haben eine wundervolle Zeit im Hotel Florida verbracht. Schon bei der Ankunft wurden wir sehr herzlich empfangen, das gesamte Personal war überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer, Badezimmer, der Pool und die gesamte Anlage waren in einem ausgezeichnet sauberen Zustand – man hat sich rundum wohlgefühlt. Besonders positiv hervorheben möchte ich das Frühstück: für italienische Verhältnisse wirklich außergewöhnlich vielfältig! Neben Aufschnitt gab es Joghurt, Cornflakes, verschiedene Brotsorten, Rührei und vieles mehr – für jeden Geschmack war etwas dabei. Die Lage ist perfekt: super zentral und gleichzeitig direkt am Strand gelegen. Besser könnte man es sich für einen Urlaub kaum wünschen. Wir kommen mit tollen Erinnerungen zurück und können das Hotel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Kein Tranfer von Olbia zum Hotel vorhanden. Zudem kurzfristig kein Parkplatz buchbar. Ansonsten top und jederzeit wieder! Sehr freundlich und sauber. Die Stadt von Alghero zu Fuss erreichbar.

Great location within easy reach of the old town and beaches

Nice hotel, great pool, very attentive staff. Pool and grounds really well kept and very tidy. Staff at breakfast were great, we didn’t eat in the hotel apart from breakfast so can’t comment otherwise. Short, 10-15 mins, lovely walk along the promenade into Alghero We had a late flight out on the day we checked out and they had showers we could use after a day at the pool, which was brilliant. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel.

Employees at the front desk were very helpful and informative. The hotel was also close to the old city and a very nice swimming beach.

Was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Location was perfect - directly across from the beach, lovely pool and staff were very friendly and helpful. Only downside was 10am check out

Seaside hotel, average rooms w good pool and sea view balconies. You have to reserve parking in advance at the hotel. It was all booked up when we arrived so we had to park in the street for the entire stay. It is located right on the beach and about a 25 min walk to the old city
