We had a wonderful time at Thanda Vista. Ben was outstanding. His welcome and hospitality were beyond words. The breakfast was wonderful and we felt pampered every morning. Ben's recommendations for eating out were also great. The guest house is conveniently located - 3 minute walk to the beach front and 3 minute walk to the shopping mall. All in all - highly recommended

Das Hotel liegt am Rande von Plett, ist jedoch zentral & ruhig. Der Empfang war herzlich und der Vermieter gibt gute Tipps. Die Zimmer waren gepflegt und sauber. Das Frühstück lecker und es gab für jeden einen frischgemachten Obstsalat, auch die Aussicht auf's Meer vom Frühstücktisch aus war grandios.

Wir hatten zwei wunderbare Tage in Plettenberg Bay und Umgebung. Die Besitzer dieses B&B sind außergewöhnlich nett und zuvorkommend - Sie nahmen sich viel Zeit und informierten uns sehr gut und umfassend über Ausflugsziele, Restaurants, etc. Das Frühstück war sehr liebevoll zubereitet und lecker. Das B&B liegt in einem sehr guten und sicheren Wohngebiet und hat eine erhobene Lage mit einem tollen Meerblick.

Good stay. We did find the standard room quite small with two large suitcases. The television positioned at ceiling height was inadequate. Breakfast was fine. The view from the roof top is exceptional and, if desired, sun loungers and table/chairs are provided.

Das Haus ist liebevoll geführt, die Zimmer sind etwas klein aber mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Zum Strand ist es eine halbe Stunde zu gehen, wobei der Weg an einer Straße entlang geht. Restaurants gibt an diesem Strand 2, welche auch die am nächst gelegenen sind. Abends wird man da, man ist ja in Südafrika, kaum zu Fuß gehen. Die Möglichkeit fußläufig etwas zu haben hat uns gefehlt. Ansonsten kann man von Plettenberg aus einiges in der Umgebung erkunden.

Ficamos apenas uma noite, mas foi muito boa. O JP, dono da casa, nos recebeu muito bem. Bairro super tranquilo. Quarto muito aconchegante.

Very good service from our hosts, who went out of their way to ensure we made the most of our stay. Room was a bit small, but that was the only one available when we booked. Book a larger room if possible. Breakfast and furnishings were very traditional.

This hotel has everything you could think of and then some. Even down to the welcoming touch of your country's flag on the breakfast table. The rooms are very comfortable with lots of little decorative touches. We had a great view over Pettenberg Bay. There's free wi-fi in the lounge and a balcony for the smokers. But perhaps the best thing is the travel advice for really making the most of the area. We'd arrived with few specific ideas but easily built a really enjoyable itinerary with the help of the proprietor.

It is nice and cosy B&B. Rooms are rather small but the rest is very lovely. Hosts are friendly and giving a lot of good advices. Hotel is not very close to a beach where you can swim - the nearby beach was washed out according to the owner. Breakfast is home-made and is very tasty.

Very good. 5 star in every aspect apart from size of room which was OK. Great location near beach but town and restaurants are a 5 minute car journey.
