This is the third time I stayed at the Smokies Park hotel. I enjoyed the quiet surroundings and friendly services in particular. Without a doubt, breakfast and dining is superb. Only thing they could improve is the shower tab. Not enough water pressure in the morning.

I must say… I was disappointed. I thought if I paid for a name like ‘Holiday Inn’ it would somehow be of a good standard…how wrong I was! When I saw my room (on the ground floor) the first thing I noticed was that it was not clean. The carpets looked grubby with stains and there were bits of debris on it like it hadn’t been vacuumed properly. The skirting boards & walls were quite marked and overall it was pretty disappointing. There were also stains on the hard surfaces. After expressing my concerns I was told I could move to a different room, this was pretty much the same. I then got offered a room on the second floor which seemed better. It’s such a shame I had to experience this… honestly not worth £90 for a midweek stay. My stay overall was okay and the staff seemed fine but I won’t be choosing Holiday Inn again.

Had an amazing night’s stay and the food was delicious. The room was clean, modern and very cosy. Would definitely go back.

Lovely clean rooms lovely bar area nice staff. Reported noises neighbours three times staff went to tell them but continue all night no sleep . Next day went to a wedding came back to hotel got woke up to a fie alarm no sleep again then 3rd night fire alarm went of twice so came home very tired

The room was clean. However, the bathroom had hair in the bathtub and sink. The bathroom was quite small, so it was difficult to maneuver around. Check-in staff were lovely, but unfortunately, it went downhill quite quickly. The ladies were rude, as well as a gentleman. You would think they were being forced to work there. I stayed for 2 nights; I wouldn't return.

All staff was very helpful sam , linda and gemma are so lovely. The room was clean and well decorated but only let down was i could hear traffic from 5am. The bed was lovely super comfy. So still got good nights sleep Ample parking in it's own carpark. I think it's more og a personal preference nut the eggs and bacon wss little overcooked but a great selection to choose from. Buffet style . We had dinner in the bar fantastic food the fish was very meaty and chips tasted proper homemade definitely value for money

Very lovely staff, very clean and efficient rooms which have everything you will need . Bar/ Restaurant area were perfect and clean. lovely scenery around.
