Hotel has own car park round the back - free parking. Greeted by owner on arrival - lovely welcoming check in and shown to room and told some useful local info (restaurant currently closed so pointed us to local places - highly recommend The Old Bath Arms a few mins walk away). Even asked what time we wanted breakfast. Room was very hot - but please bear in mind we were on 2nd floor and it followed a red alert heatwave so not owners fault at all. Fan was provided but made little difference. Very little sleep due to heat - windows open and road/junction outside very busy (Saturday night) so this didn’t help either. However, room was delightful. Had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. Lovely decor and well thought out. Breakfast was delicious - we both had full English and it was tasty. All drinks self service and all fresh. Staff always on hand for anything else and even apologised for the hot rooms and noise! So a delightful clean little place, with lovely, polite and helpful staff. The only 2 negatives were completely out of their hands so I would recommend them 100%.

Great hosts. With the hot weather there gave us cold water and put fans in our room. Breakfast was good quality.

The room was clean and the shower worked well (although personal preference I wasn't a fan of the shower curtain!). They provided a fan in the room which was needed with the heat. All the staff were lovely and they even carried our big suitcase up the stairs for us! Enjoyed are stay and located in a wonderful location.

The corner house was a great find staff were great we had a deluxe double and it was large spotless and quiet and comfortable and a bonus of free parking breakfast was fantastic absolutely everything you wanted

Very well located to explore Frome town. The car park is very handy. Great breakfast! The room was comfortable and had everything I needed for my short stay. Staff were all very polite and welcoming ☺️

We stayed in room 9. There were some strong points: the bed was comfy, the location was handy for the town centre, and the included breakfast was a highlight, with friendly service too. The fan and basic toiletries were also nice touches. But for the price, it didn’t feel like good value. The noise was a real problem, the creaking floorboards from the room above were so loud they kept both me and my wife (who is not a light sleeper) awake until the guest above stopped moving, and then woke us up again in the morning. Clearly the floorboards need fixing in the room above. The room wasn’t the cleanest, the shower knob was broken (I managed to fix it myself). While there were positives, the first job of a hotel is to provide a decent night's sleep and the noise issues made it hard to justify the cost. A few improvements would go a long way.

Very clean rooms, helpful staff (we were given a ride to the train station!), and bountiful breakfast.

The breakfast was really good. No issues with parking as well. We stayed one night to go to safari park which was convenient.

Great stay. Good sized bedroom with comfortable bed. The only negative about it was the creaky floorboards above us. The breakfast provided the following day was very good with loads of choices. Location of the hotel is central with free parking. We liked that we can just walk from hotel to the centre within 5 minutes. The staff were very helpful and efficient especially at breakfast time when they were very busy. We recommend this hotel.

Was an ok stay bedrooms are basic but clean the pub below is not so good dirty seats etc & you have breakfast there. Def not worth the money we paid and would pay that again for a property of this standard. Breakfast was the best but if you can look past the pub you are in. Location good close to town centre.

Room clean with comfortable temperature. Shower rather weak stream. Breakfast quite good but I think some items had been cooked a while. Great to have car parking but it got a little tight at times.

Our room was spacious and very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. The bed was ok. Outside was quite noisy though.
