Large, quiet room with comfy beds. Could do with a freshen up, a spring clean, and a bit more attention to detail. We only had one mug and one bath towel for two people in a twin room (reception provided more when asked). The shower gel was empty and hand wash virtually empty, and they were not replaced after asking the day staff. But I guess it ticked the boxes as a budget place to crash for a couple of nights.

No breakfast despite being advertised. WiFi didn't work despite being advertised. Had to spend a lot of money in the Service Station which wasn't ideal. Just say its a bed and and average space

Check in was smooth, staffs were always avaliable and friendly. Room was clean. I like the part to confrim the car plate number with photo to make sure it's correct. Just the weather was warm and the fan barely enough to cool down the room. No complaint at all.

Okay place BUT NO WAY TO RETURN TO THE PROPERTY FROM THE SOUTH YOU HAVE TO DRIVE 10 MILES UP THE MOTORWAY TO THE FIRST JUNCTION OFF AND THEN DRIVE ALL THE WAY BACK DOWN TO ACCESS SO 20 MILES .NOT GOOD .

I have to say this was the most disgusting hotel room I have ever stayed in. The bedding was clean but the carpets and the room hadn't been hoovered properly. Under the beds and desks etc hadn't been cleaned for years,dust all over the room. The bathroom was surprisingly clean, just a bit tired and dated. We arrived at 10pm with 2 young children staying for 1 night. I didn't complain and just put it down to an experience. Never again will I stay at a days inn. We also think they have bed bugs as we are all itching. I understand it's a 3 star hotel but cleanliness should be the minimum standard.

Our overall experience was ok , staff were friendly, our room looked as though it hadn’t been cleaned properly from the previous guessed , bed side cabinet was very sticky and the bathroom floor was dirty , good job I took some antibacterial wipes with me , There were Rats outside the front door which needs attention.

Hotel was a little past its prime, but otherwise clean and comfortable. The staff were absolutely marvellous; friendly and efficient. Would absolutely stay here again- especially for the price, which was an incredible steal.

Upon arrival, had to PHONE for someone to come to reception as there was no-one available on arrival. Eventually someone came down and gave us our room key. On inspection we found that the room was not clean especially the toilet. So PHONED again, only to have to wait approx 15mins to be told that rooms had not been cleaned. We changed room which was acceptable for 1 night. There seemed to be only 1 person on duty that was doing everything. IE: Reception, getting rooms ready!!! etc etc

We didn't have breakfast. The bed was comfy and clean but the rest of the hotel is tired and needs an upgrade.

Unacceptable hygiene – mold, dirt, and poor maintenance We stayed here for a weekend with our children and were very disappointed with the cleanliness and condition of the room. The bathroom had a strong moldy smell, and there was visible mold on the ceiling, which is completely unacceptable—especially with kids. The overall hygiene was poor. The carpet was very dirty with visible debris along the edges, and the bathroom areas showed clear signs of neglect and buildup. It did not feel clean or properly maintained. This is not just about appearance—mold and poor sanitation raise real health concerns. We expected a basic standard of cleanliness from a hotel, and this fell far below that. I would not recommend staying here unless significant improvements are made.

Don't bother I walked in room and walked out again dirty stained carpet. Dirty sheets and sugar all over the sides and window sill obviously not cleaned properly and the room smelt of body odours

Room had not been cleaned properly, a dirty mug, bathroom floor dirty, beds not made up properly, no coffee ,and noise next room ! Disappointed!

The room was fine, check in OK, parking easy enough and there's a good bath and shower. 1 downside - the toilet seat is a small size on a normal size toilet which is not easy to use and would be impossible for a larger person.

A basic but spacious room. Parking, although comlimentary, needs to be validated with your car registration. We were unable to do this as the validation machine was not working and we were asked to write down our car registration on a paper list. Let's hope this has worked OK!
