This hotel is far from the main street, no shops around. They don't have luxurious suites. But still, I think five stars are not enough for them. I was so happy with my stay, and my only complain here is that they set up my standard of hotel front staffs so high, that I would not be easily satisfied later on. When I come back to this hotel, staffs always greets me and ask how my day was, and what do I need for next day, like boxed meals, taxi reservation, morning call for early tour, and so on. Sounds pretty much normal. Yes, but usually I have to say 'excuse me, but could you..' for these services. For a shy traveler like me, this helped me a lot! While checking in, I arrived a few hours before my checking in, slept only two hours during 12 hours' bus trip. Marco, who's always calm, polite and also very professional, looked at my awful condition, checked my passport only, and led me to a room and let me rest, I spent less than five minutes for these. I did all the standard checking in procedures, including detailed briefing about the town and self guided city tours, after several hours' sound sleep. How considerate and sympathetic they were! They have three front staffs, and all of them are very good. I guess they might have a standard manual for taking care of guests. If I was a hotel owner, I would send all my hotel staffs to stay here, to watch and learn. When I come to Cusco again, I would definitely love to stay here once again, to meet Marco and his colleagues.

Location is very neat to sleep and room was so clean. Whatever we requested to additional service, hotel offer us the best option. It is best in Peru, ever.

Torre Dorada is located at a silent residential district of Cusco. It is not super close to the downtown where all the tourist attractions and malls are clustered, but its super helpful service definitely outweighs the disadvantage. The hotel provides free transportation to the downtown area and bus terminal, which is very convenient. Breakfast was great. Most of all, staffs were very attentive and helpful, which I appreciate the most. I'd love to stay at the hotel again if I get to visit Cusco again. Highly recommended.

The WiFi was slow, I had important wifi calling that I needed to do and couldn’t because the signal kept getting dropped. Staff was very helpful when I was rushed for breakfast, but a touch of English speaking at the front desk first thing in the morning would have been very helpful.

Home away from home! The staff at the hotel - reception, breakfast, and room service was top notch. Extremely friendly and helpful. I originally planned on staying only one evening, but ended up staying for 5 plus 1 nights. The location is a bit out of the central area but cabs / rideshare is quick and inexpensive. I stayed there again after the initial stay (trip to Machu Picchu) and they stored my large bag, and had it in my original room upon my return. Highly recommended

Les recomiendo totalmente este lugar, es un espacio muy limpio, acogedor, y con detalles que te hacen sentir en un espacio de tranquilidad e inmersivo de la cultura Peruana. No quiero dejar de mencionar que el trato del personal es totalmente cálido y muy respetuoso (Denis, Dervin y la Sra Karina, así como el personal de limpieza) todos tienen una actitud muy cálida. Lo recomiendo totalmente!!!!

Torre Dorada is a quiet hotel on a square away from the noise of the main city. The rooms are very clean and the breakfasts are great. The staff go above and beyond to ensure you have a great stay and radiate kindness to help you with any needs. Would stay again

The manager of the hotel was absolutely excellent, as was the staff, except for one desk clerk who almost caused us to lose our trip from Cusco to Machu Picchu, our main reason for the trip, due to his negligence in managing obtaining a taxi....Taxi was scheduled to arrive at 6:30 am, but he did not order new taxi until 7:15 when we were to be at our pickup point at 7:00 for pickup by Inca Rail between 7:30-8:00. Taxi did not arrive at Torre Dorado until 7:35. It was only due to excellent service from Inca Rail that we were able to make the connection.

The staff were great, the room was comfortable for my two night stay. I enjoyed the breakfast. Porridge with quinoa, some fruit and yogurt. You also got one item made for you such as eggs. There were also a couple different breads, meat and cheese.

We had a very nice sleep! We arrived very late to leave very early and it was fantastic!

Great stay overall. Very clean rooms, extremely friendly staff, and a short 7-minute car ride to the historic centre. The staff is, in all honesty, the friendliest, warmest hotel staff we have encountered on our travels; they were all delightful and always ready to help and offer advice.

If you’re coming to Cusco this is the place to stay , the staff was amazing the room was clean and had amazing water pressure. Short walk to most places and if not a cheap uber. The staff gave great recommendations for places to eat. Would stay here again.
