Beautiful looking hotel in a lovely part of town, the hotel has been renovated a few years ago and to a high standard, there are a lot of steps to rooms which are quite tricky for those with mobility issues. It welcomes dogs and has a small car park for 3 cars
The only down side to our overnight stay was the food on offer (cold plates) I had the plate of salmon which was quite strong in taste and the lettuce served with it was rather limp and had just 1 small tomato cut in 2 and no dressing, my husband had the duck pâté but it wasn’t very nice either and it was very expensive
The staff were wonderful and obliging. We would return
