유럽권의 호텔 중에서 역사와 전통이 있는 곳은 많습니다. 그 중에서도 베수비오는 나폴리 현지인들에게 굉장히 높은 유명세를 가진 호텔입니다. 특히, 칸조네로 유명한 카루소에 대한 좋은 스토리가 많아서 레스토랑(레스토란테)에서 꼭 카루소로 된 이름의 파스타와 와인을 한 잔하시길 권합니다. 호불호가 가리는 점은 테라스에서 흡연이 가능하여 식사를 하면서 예전과 같은 운치 있는 식사시간이 될 수 있습니다. 물론 흡연자들에게는 말입니다. 저는 비흡연자라서 담배는 식사시간에 피우지는 않고 식사만 즐겼습니다. 이태리를 가면 밀라노, 피렌체, 로마 보다는 나폴리를 가볼것을 권하며 그 중에서도 베수비오 호텔을 가길 권합니다. 서비스 또한 그 도시와 닮은 서비스를 제공해서 잘해줍니다. 야박하지 않게 말이죠.

나폴리의 3번째 방문이었는데, 호텔 선택의 여지가 별로없어서 고르는데 어렵지는 않지만 베수비오호텔이 위치한 옆에 해안가쪽 위치한 다른 4성급 호텔들과 시설이나 서비스면에서 별차이가 없음.

Overall, we had a great experience at this hotel and would likely stay there again when in Naples. But two things bothered me about our room. First, the shower was tiny and the shower door was difficult to close correctly. Second, the bed linens felt rough and not high quality. On the other hand, the breakfast buffet was excellent, the rooftop bar was lovely, all staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel room was nicely decorated, quiet, and comfortable.

La alberca no funciona los domingos. Mi esposa visito por una noche el hotel y no pudo utilizar la alberca porque los domingos no la abren. Increible que en un hotel de este nivel no está disponible esta amenidad.

It was a beautiful hotel with attentive and friendly staff. Our room was excellent with a small balcony to view the port and castle. The Skytop lounge in the evening is a must! Excellent vantage point for sunset over the port and Mt Vesuvius to the east.

Emplacement idéal à Naples; personnel gentil mais lorsqu’on a demandé de réserver un resto pour nous ils nous ont dit de le faire nous même par Internet. Moins aimé : les draps étaient rugueux et pas de vrais kleenex dans la salle de bain , plutôt des mini kleenex .

The Grand Hotel is a mediocre, apparently 5*, hotel. I have stayed in 3* hotels which have been much better. In Naples, Parkers Hotel is far superior. The ‘superior’ room whilst reasonably spacious was drab and had no facility for making hot drinks. It was located on the side of the hotel and the balcony overlooked what seemed to be a massive taxi rank. The receptionist said she had upgraded us from a Classic room although we had actually paid for and reserved a Superior room on Expedia. The bathroom was small and cramped with a conventional hose shower in a small cubicle. There was little space to hang towels or anything else. The buffet breakfast was standard for this type of hotel. A few members of staff were helpful. There seemed to be a very close relationship between the taxi drivers and some of the door men who preferred to discuss the fare in Neapolitan.
