Towels weren’t replaced, had to ask for them after room was somewhat cleaned

Had do not disturb up for 5 days So when I needed the room cleaned I had bath mat left on floor and only 1 towel out of six set up in bathroom Floors weren’t swept But the bed was made

The staff was the only problem that I will mention. The front desk is understaffed. When trying to check in the 1 staff member was away from the desk for several minutes doing 1 of many things( extra towels). For an older person with hearing loss it was hard to hear what the staff were trying to say and some staffs English was heavily accented. The room, parking, and breakfast were good.

Room smelt like someone had smoked in it.

I was scheduled to stay 4 nights. After my first night I realized Friday was a holiday so I could leave a day early. I spoke to the receptionist who told me I would still have to pay for all four nights as that is what I booked. When I checked out on Thursday afternoon it was a different receptionist and she told me if I had made her aware prior to checkout I wouldn’t have been charged for Friday night. I explained to her that I had informed the other lady a day earlier and was told would be charged anyway. Her response was, “ she’s new and probably did know, maybe I would have better luck next time”. No offer for a credit on my next stay or anything else. I will probably stay elsewhere next time.

It didn’t feel very safe. The room and bathroom were dingy and old and didn’t feel very clean

Parking was a little bit sketchy, but overall good. Breakfast was good, staff were friendly. The place was noisy, and the beds were dated. But overall, for a 1 night stay it was good.

Communication was a bit complicated with the hotel. Room we stayed in was a bit run down, parking was hard to find (mind you we did arrive later at night to check in). For an affordable place to stay would recommend.

Extremely busy on the weekend. Staff still managed to help many guests and tend to their needs. Very clean, positive atmosphere! Impressive!!!
