Room had no hand towel or mat at bathroom. Room floor wasn’t clean and tiles broken.

Location is extremely very good, staff is very helpful , food of the restaurant is very good. Property itself needs renovation and as it is 4 star property hence this should be maintained as 4 star . Overall happy to be this place again and recommend anyone would like to be there ,

Well maintained property. The rooms over look a lake in a valley. Beautiful mountainside view decorate your windows. Has a lot of activities in the resort- air gun, bow and arrow, snooker, pink ponk, carroms etc.. a party room also is available for singing and dining. bathrooms were comfortable, clean. Every day housekeeping keeps your towels and bed sheets fresh. Rooms had coffee maker, hair dryer, mini fridge, wardrobe closet, soap dispenser etc.. Staffs were very friendly, courteous and helpful. Property is 17 kms before Munnar when you climb from Theni. Access from the main road is short and good. Ample parking space available within the resort. Food was okay. It has buffet as well as ala carte for break fast, Lunch and dinner. While it was a good spread, the food was not that tasty. It can be better. And the coffee shop is not 24 x 7. A 4 star hotel will need a 24x7 coffee shop. And there is only one restaurant cuisine. I expected at least 2 for dinner. But this is a minor issue. Overall, had a very pleasant stay. Will visit again if schedule permits. Certainly recommended.

Great location surrounded by tea gardens every where. However, it is not clean as it looks like in pictures and with less amenities and the hill station vibe is somehow missing

This hotel is located at chinnakanal which is around 20 kms away from Munnar town. As soon as we entered the road towards Chinnakanal from Munnar, road started diminishing. There were some rare patches of asphalt road. Construction was going on for the entire 20 kms. And we had to wait for almost 30 mins twice as rock was being broken down and taken away in trucks. Total it took us more than 2 hours to cover 20kms. I think I will have to take my car to the mechanic now. I understand that it's not hotel's mistake, but they had called me a day before to ask us when we are gonna arrive and they never informed about this issue or advised us to consider delays. We cut short our trip and travelled back with just one night's stay though we had booked two. I dint get a refund for the cancellation even after explaining the circumstances. The hotel rooms were not upto the mark, absolute dissatisfaction and not worth the whole effort. The fridge and cupboard were dirty. No hand towels were provided. Toilet fittings were rusted. The soap dispenser was broken. After paying for a good time in Munnar, this was not expected.

Facility is run down, Out bath had a loose faucet and bath rod. Wall plaster and door was peeling off. Food was not good, we walked to Mahindra Holidays to eat daily, There was no WIFI in the room. Overall not a happy experience

drive down to munnar was tedious however the breathtaking views of the KDH valley was mesmerising picture post card type scenes munnar town badly maintained narrow roads, speedy traffic tea estates are amazing

Very rude staff intermingled with good ones. On checking in, room floor was dirty and not mopped. Request for assistance for sightseeing suggestions was refused rudely. No amenities are provided in the room until asked for. Hotel is VERY NOISY in the evenings with music blaring at the activity centre and the rooms at not sound proof. At check out , request to bring down bags was ignored even after 3 calls for assistance. Finally we took down the bags ourselves and saw about 5 staff just milling about at the reception.

tl;dr; Do not go The room pics in the hotel description looked nice so we booked for 2 nights at expensive rates, expecting good rooms, but the rooms provided were so different. The hotel is located in nice place but they have somehow managed to mess it up by making windows looking towards thick foliage, forest which has nothing other than creepy sounds, room has morbid feeling in night and my wife was scared even if I would leave her for 5 min. food was expensive, yet disappointing to see such bad quality - not good at taste, banana split had a raw banana seriously how hard it is to make a banana split. They have an extremely slow service and waiter keeps forgetting orders. rest of the food was not good too. The in house TVs had DTH connection but were out of order for half the time, the power too was fluctuating and went out for at least 50 times one night. The rooms provided were not even in the same building so we have to walk in the rain, climb stairs (no lift) and get drenched every now and then. Felt, totally robbed and management didn't do anything even when we complained. Breakfast has lot of options but most of it are stale and they are probably using old stuff from previous days. They can't make good tea or coffee, so what to expect from them

The hotel has an awesome location..beautiful views and is a charming property. However the service was not upto the mark..especially in the restaurant..no one was bothered to serve you! Rooms were nice but a bit on the smaller side..overall had a nice stay..!

The stay was comfortable but we had to surrender Deluxe Suites since they were located far away and on different floors, which had no lift. Instead, the hotel gave us standard rooms without refunding the excess money charged for the Deluxe suites.

Great location, next to tea Garden, 20 km from Munnar Town. Shops nearby for daily needs, next to Mahindra resort. Jr. Suite room, seem a bit older and not very new, walls had some painting issue, bathroom looked spank new. Lobby and garden area excellant. Great views of mountains. Breakfast was excellent everyday, eclectic choices, chef very accommodating to requests. Rooms look slightly older from inside, some paint job and cleaning required. Independent 2 storey buildings were next to forest, very quiet at night.

ROOM WAS FABULOUS AT FIRST, LATER WE REALIZED WATER HEATER SUPPLIED HOT WATER ONLY FOR FEW SECONDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TOILET CLOSET WAS TILTED(* MAY BE FOR EFFICIENCY*) FINALLY ABOUT THE BED,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, IT WAS EXTRA SPRINGYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY N WE SLEPT ON THE SOFA WHICH WAS ACCEPTABLE FOR A DAY, NOT MORE THAN THAT....AMBIANCE WAS JUST THE BASIC LIKE ANY BASIC HOTEL................. HELP-DESK WAS NOT HELPFUL ENOUGH TO GIVE THE BASIC INFORMATION'S ABOUT THE RESORT..

Room was clean, well maintained, bed was large enough for family with a kid. Room was a bit small though. Bathroom well equipped. Lots of activities for kids and grown ups - both indoor and out. Nice lawn with great vistas outside. Food is also great. Only qualm is that the restaurant serves no snacks even as simple as a chicken sandwich in the evening ...

Good food and good sight seeing arrangements. Pick up from airport was nice. Distance from Munnar is rather more, it becomes somewhat boreing travelling to the hotel . Rooms had leakage spots, not repaired. Except this, not bad experience. Hotel staff is excellent. Booking through hotels.com was quite convenient. Hotel location had pleasant surroundings, although distant from Munnar.
