Because we were 3 people we had a converted cottage which was very nice looking, however practical it was not! The bathroom was set in a way you couldn't move with an open shower, the toilet was right next to the bed on the opposite side to the bathroom. Upstairs was not really well lit and super hot. Put that with the piles of dead ants which did not appear in the hours between cleaning and us arriving and zero vegan food no matter what the menu says and I will not be booking here again. The only good thing I can say is that the staff were very eager to help hoovering up the ants and offering a different cottage which I thought was too late to change to. But their efforts were appreciated and I'm grateful for them trying to help!

The place is amazing - set in a grand estate with sprawling lawns and well maintained The food - absolutely "chefs kiss" The only issue is air conditioning - there isnt especially in the summer when the rooms are extremely warm

Lovely setting. Room was small but adequate. No walk in shower just a bath tub with a shower over. Rather antiquated and has seen better days. Evening meal was very pleasant and staff friendly. Breakfast left a lot to be desired. Scrambled egg was all gone bar a scraping around the edge. Not a great amount of choice for the price. If you have mobility issues I’d seriously reconsider staying here. Stairs are rather hard to navigate

Beautiful hotel close to Calais & Dunkirk so very convenient if you are doing a ferry crossing. Very comfortable rooms. Excellent dinner at a reasonable price. Highly recommend.

Our room was spotless, staff very helpful and the food was amazing! Great way to end our trip.

The property and restaurant are lovely. Dinner was top notch. The double bed was two single beds put together but not secured or attached, so we fell through the middle during the night and had to get up and push the beds back together, but stay on our own side. It was a terrible nights sleep and the mattress was also bad. Wouldn’t stay here again because the bed situation was untenable.

Excellent dinner, which wasn't cheap but was very good value at €39 for three courses plus various amuses bouches. Breakfast was good - lovely soft scrambled egg which you only seem to get in French hotels.

Stayed one night. Easy to find and surrounding are very quite. As in rural areas, things are slow. The room was lovely but a bit on the snall side. Staff was very friendly and helpful in accommodating our need of not eating in the restaurant in the evening. Most annoying thing...both twin beds were squeeking.

Beautiful room and amazing evening meal

We were very late arriving but they ensured someone was there to meet us. Beautiful place.. I could have slept in that bed forever. Fabulous for the tunnel or just for a weekend away from home.
