정말 최고에요 가족 4명 여행으로 다녀온 다카야마 여행 1박 140만원 아깝지 않을 정도로 훌륭했었다. 입구에서 부터 입장과 동시에 북을치고 프론트 모든 직원의 환대 서비스와 깨끗하고 깔끔한 분위기의 호텔 프론트가 반겨줍니다. 객실로 안내했던 젊은 남성직원의 친절하고 환한 미소는 잊지못할 최고의 직원들 끝내주는온천과 저녁 가이세키 는 최고입니다.

매순간이 감동이었습니다. 타카야마역에서 료칸까지 왕복 모두 차로 안전히 편안히 데려다주고, 들어가는 순간부터 최고의 서비스를 받을 수 있었습니다. 스탭분들의 서비스도 가이세키 및 요리도 온천도 모두 대만족이었습니다. 적극추천 및 다음에 또 들리고 싶은 특별한 곳이었습니다~!!

This ryokan was awesome! It was definitely the best stay during my trip. The service was beyond good and the people spoke good English. There were three onsen spas and the female-only spa was really nice with a tea service after the spa. Although I only had breakfast during my stay, I would love to visit again for dinner next time.

렌트카를 이용한 여행중이였는데 오후 늦게 예약하고. 예약 후 전화가 와서 투숙객 정보를 묻더군요. 매우 친절했고 렌트카로 밤늦게 도착했는데 발렛파킹을 해주었습니다. 들어가자마자 북(?)을 치며 환영을 해주는 서비스가... 고급 료칸에 머무는 듯한 서비스. 식사도 제공해주고 조식은 생각외로 훌륭한 가이세키 요리가 나왔습니다. 룸에서 즐기는 조식 또한 좋았습니다.

We stayed at Honjin Hiranoya Kachoan for a very special occasion, and I cannot overstate how exceptional the entire team was. From the earliest planning stages through the night of our stay, every member of the staff, especially Mr. Kawamura from the reservation office, was deeply involved, genuinely excited, and incredibly thoughtful in helping coordinate my marriage proposal. They kept everything a complete secret from my partner (it was a surprise proposal), worked discreetly behind the scenes, and paid close attention to even the smallest details so the moment felt natural, personal, and entirely “us.” What stood out most was how invested the staff were - this did not feel like a standard celebration package or a routine request. The team treated it as something truly special, tailoring the experience to us with warmth, care, and sincere enthusiasm. Their coordination, timing, and sensitivity were flawless, and they made the entire experience feel bespoke rather than scripted. Beyond the proposal itself, the ryokan is beautiful, the rooms are elegant and comfortable, and the kaiseki dinner was outstanding. Every interaction reflected genuine hospitality and pride in what they do. This is a place where people truly care. We will remember this stay, and the kindness of the staff, for the rest of our lives. I cannot recommend Honjin Hiranoya Kachoan highly enough.

A hidden gem! From the train station to check out is VIP treatment. I loved every minute and if I return to Takayama I'm booking again!

Nos hospedamos en la habitación superior estilo japonés, y verdaderamente valió la pena. La habitación es preciosa, espaciosa y cómoda. El desayuno, si lo pides tradicional (que hay varias opciones) también merece mucho la pena). El baño también es increíble. En conclusión, fue una experiencia sumamente agradable

清潔で、広く大変気に入りました。 又、行きたい宿です。

友人のおすすめで、料理の良さと、女性向きということで宿泊しました。 観光をするのにとてもアクセスがよく、高山陣屋や、三町筋、朝市など歩いてすぐに行け、便利でした。駅までも遠くはないですが、送迎あり助かりました。 部屋と大浴場のシャワーやドライヤーもリファで部屋のカラーに合わせているのかタイルも素敵でした。予約時ほとんど完売で2部屋からしか選べませんでしたが、他の部屋にも泊まってみたいです。 スタッフも皆さん落ち着いた感じで、話していて安心できました。 部屋のお風呂がずっと焚きっぱなしということで、最初、それは無駄かなと思いましたが、実際はすぐ入れるとなると何度も入るもので、ずっと暖かく過ごせて快適でした。別館のお風呂にも行き、囲炉裏のお湯でハーブティーもいただき、女性の好みを熟知されている感じでした。 料理は海鮮のコースにとび飛騨牛をオプションで付けたので量が多すぎるかと心配でしたが多すぎも少なくもなく本当にちょうど良い量で最後まで美味しくいただきました。 ご飯の量を聞かれたのでたくさん食べる人でも大丈夫と思います。連泊は部屋が空いておらず１泊のみでしたが、とても快適な滞在でした。ありがとうございました。

Excellent service and we enjoyed the different style of meals. It’s super close to walking to everything that we wanted to see and eat.

1人左利きがいたことをスタッフの方に伝えていなかったのですが、食事の時に左利きようにお箸が置かれていて、細やかなお心遣いに感激しました。 お風呂の女性用に露天風呂がなかったのが少し残念でした。

This property is good. The hotel is old but the staff is family owned and they take great care of you. The facilities are acceptable for the town but the service and staff make up for it. I would recommend it just letting people know if not new. It is clean, well located and comfortable.

It’s a scam, pictures really differ from reality. They try to charge extra for things you didn’t order. It smelled terrible. DO NOT STAY AT ANY PRICE. I was charged more than a Four Seasons in Tokyo. The room smelled rotten eggs and at night it smelled the hotel kitchen in your room. I believe Ryokans is a tourist trap to avoid at all costs, specially this one. English is barely spoken so communication is really hard. The different parties that we were checking out at the same time were really glad that our stay there was coming to an end.
