Really lovely hotel and the staff were absolutely excellent. Incredibly friendly and accommodating.

Staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful especially Jayne. Breakfast was amazing and freshly cooked. The view from the room’s balcony was spectacular.

With a wonderful view of the beach our room was very clean with were needed. Staff always extremely helpful and friendly. Excellent breakfast with lots of choice and great evening meal. Definitely stay again.

The hotel was lovely with great views and luxurious room. The food was really great and Mike who was part of the breakfast service went above and beyond, honestly he is a fantastic staff member. The hotel is well situated and I would definitely book again.

We had a really lovely short stay (2 nights). Excellent location overlooking the beach, delicious food both at breakfast and dinner. The staff were very helpful and cheerful. Comfortable clean rooms too. We’ll be back.

A really lovely hotel with lots of thoughtful touches. Stylish very comfortable room with generous balcony overlooking the sea (and seat cushions for the balcony chairs). Our room was very well equipped and we welcomed the fresh milk and complimentary water in the fridge. The staff were friendly and helpful, nice restaurant with good dinner choices and very generous breakfast. Free parking also.

Beautiful stay, directly from check in. They checked us in early, gave us a beautiful room. The hotel is lovely and clean and over looks the beach. The staff were all friendly and lovely. We just loved it.

The staff were great at the Bude very welcoming and knowledgeable, great room, quiet, spacious and clean. Would definitely recommend

Reception staff very friendly, as was the slightly older gent serving breakfast on bank holiday Monday. For an independent hotel it’s a good standard on the whole. We had room 3 which was very large but the floor is shot. I feel for the poor people in room 4 underneath as the floor creaks with every single step. Also the room was noisy from early as the main windows overlook Sainsburys car park and there was deliveries and reversing announcements/beeping so if you want peace that’s not the room for you. Bar area was nice, staff were pleasant, not particularly friendly but certainly not rude. Great location everything in easy walking distance. Very good breakfast.

Superb hotel right on the beach, easy parking very friendly staff, lovely homely feel room looking out to sea was just fantastic. Food and drinks excellent especially sat in the front of the hotel enjoying the sunshine all day… simply the best hotel in bude, don’t go anyway else

The hotel overlooks Summerleaze beach & has lovely views - our room looked over the beach too The room we were in was spacious and very clean and we had a very good nights sleep All the staff we encountered were welcoming and friendly and made our stay a very pleasant experience The slight downside was parking - there were only limited spaces outside the hotel but we were able to park in a nearby car park which was free overnight (less than a five minute walk from the hotel) We would definitely stay at this hotel again

The room was spacious with nice furnishings. We had a view over the beach towards the south. The bathroom was good with a deep bath and an over bath shower. The bed was really comfortable. We'd definitely go back.

Straight away, from the outside The Beach looked inviting and the location really was perfect. On checking in, the young lady at the desk was extremely helpful, cheerful and efficient. The room was light, airy and very clean with everything you need at hand. The shower was, without a doubt, the best hotel shower we had ever used, hot for as long as we needed it and fabulous pressure behind it. In the morning, after a restful sleep, we were directed to the dining area which had views out over the bay, and the staff simply couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast was supplied to order and individual - not massed produced and was delicious. Overall, this is one of the best stop-over hotels we have ever used (and we've been in a few, let me tell you) and would definitely recommend The Beach to any and all visitors to Bude.
