The Aethos Milano is a bit of a hidden gem, somewhat removed from the tourist jumble around the Duomo and Galleria. It sits on a busy thoroughfare and is almost invisible from the street if not for the small name on the awning. Once inside, it's a maze of interestingly-decorated lounge and restaurant spaces, which one must navigate to reach the elevator to your room. The hotel staff was outstanding in every regard, with a special shout-out to the helpful ladies at the front desk and the friendly servers at the breakfast venue. (BTW, the daily breakfast included with the room was excellent.) We stayed in a Junior Suite, which was really nothing more than a slightly oversized room with a large outdoor terrace. The room was very clean, comfortable and well-appointed. The outdoor area was nice but afforded you almost no privacy from your neighbors save for a few strategically-placed plants. All in all, we had an enjoyable stay, but a word of caution: Take a quick look at the hotel's website and social media feed. It will give you a clear understanding of the demographic to which they try to cater—the young and/or trendy. Are you the type who enjoys a DJ spinning tunes at Sunday brunch? Do you expect your hotel to be "Instagrammable"? Do you prefer a quiet-night's sleep or a party scene? Not to judge, but these are all things to consider before booking here.

Fantastic decor throughout with very helpful and friendly staff. Small but well appointed gym. Breakfast very good. Doping bar is great. Navigli is lively with lots of places to eat and drink. Duomo is walkable in about 25 mins. Large room with very comfortable large bed. A couple of pieces of furniture in the room needed upgrading but these are minor points.

grundsätzlich ist das Hotel ok, auch wenn man gewisse sanitäre Installationen etwas erneuern könnte. Zimmer eher dunkel. Aus meiner Sicht zu teuer für das was es bietet.

Hôtel jolie mais interdiction locale d’utiliser la climatisation. Donc hôtel et chambre suffocante. Bcp de bruit à l’extérieur. Très mauvaise literie. Parking hôtel 40€/nuit. Personnel très gentil.

Excellent hotel and hospitality! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by name and congratulated on our honeymoon. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and answered all questions. The hotel has an amazing bar included that was the coolest bar we went to in Milan. The room was spacious, clean, and very well decorated. The location was incredible. About a 20ish minute walk to downtown center, but right next to Navigli canals, which we enjoyed a lot more than the touristy center of the city. Plenty of metro transportation. It’s a busy area so parking was a bit complicated, but I think anywhere in Milan will be similar.

Outstanding design and vibe

The room was very spacious and well furnished. Staffs were friendly. Naviglio itself has changed a bit. became too touristic in bad way. so the neighborhood wasn't great. Also they have been kept opening the office door which is located on next to my room. Everytime I pass by, I had to face the working scene. that was annoying.

I have no complaints. 100/10. The staff took great care of me& were very helpful and attentive to my needs. Next time I’m in Milan I will be back.

This property is a hidden gem. Although not exactly "hidden". It's in a great location. Easy to walk to everything...or a short cab ride. The property itself has been lovingly updated and decorated. Great bar / restaurant and staff. we are really glad we booked it!

I stayed for work and had a really positive experience here. When I asked for a late check out they were able to accomodate me to prevent me from sitting waiting at the airport. Overall excellent staff and facilities
