The house has rooms which are let and reminded me of a hostel. The web description of what I paid for did not tally with the room I was offered. I found I had a room on the second floor with an en-suite bathroom, an air conditioning unit which was not working, but a fan which was. The bathroom was well ventilated by a Velux window. The communal areas and staircase were not smart.
The room was clean and had a kettle, tea & coffee etc. Given the price relative to local hotels it was OK for value. The member of staff who was on the premises was pleasant. However, we had some difficulty communicating due to his limited English. A manager spoke to me by telephone and gave me the key code for the room for which I had paid. I did not have breakfast and paid £3 to park.
